The episode starts with Laajo sitting near her Diya and praying there silently when Lakhi comes in with the food when she refuses to eat Saraswati comes in and talks to her. Saraswati tells her that she can understand how her daughter's mind must be very confused as on one hand she may want to leave to go to Nikhil and on the other she wants to fulfill her dream of becoming something. Laajo feels very dejected and Saraswati consoles her.
In the city Nikhil comes in from out and Barkha tells him that she will arrange the food, but he refuses saying that he doesn't have any money to pay for that food. He further states that he will pay for his food and his accomdation as he has to be independent. Rancho, Shreya and Bheja are discussing about Nikhil's problem they feel sad for him but also are happy that he has taken this step. They decide to come up with a solution when Rancho states that this whole problem started because Barkha doesn't want Laajo to live with them so they come up with a plan to change Barkha's mind.
A young girl whose name is Riya comes to Bhardwaj's house and introduces herself to Barkha as Nikhil's friend. Before Nikhil goes to meet her Rancho has already informed him about the plan. Riya is shown to be a ultra modern and snotty kind and she and Barkha talk about bottled water. Barkha is shocked to know that Riya is Nikhil's good friend and they have a conversation about Ethopian coffee . Nikhila and Riya go to the side and he thanks her for helping out. Barkha seems very irritated with the girl and calls her arrogant too. Nikhil is amused at this and thinks to herself that Barkha itself does not like one of the so called typical girls of her society.
The next day in the village Laajo is at the temple and is praying to God to help her, to show her a way when suddenly a loud booming sound comes and says to Laajo that the path will be shown to her and she would have to follow it. Laajo searches around to see from where the sound is coming and is surprised to see Rancho outside they are both happy to see each other.
In the city Nikhil receives a call from a company regarding the job offer, he goes to see them and is happy with the job he is getting offered along with the salary. In the village Rancho tell laajo she has come because she knows the solution to Laajo's problem. She tells her that Laajo would have to come to the city and she can live with her and start her new life. At this Saraswati gets scared about sending Laajo to the city alone. Rancho tried convincing Rambachan and tells him that getting a degree is not the only thing Laajo can work also she will have to learn how the city girls are Laajo would also have to learn how to speak in English which would only be possible if she moves.
Precap - Laajo is telling rancho that she is scared of these changes as she is scared that she might fail, Saraswati comes in and says that Laajo can go to the city as she has understood what is best now.
