Latest from BOI : 2 States did 90 crore business after 2 weeks, still going strong and has strong chances to cross 100 crores' mark.
I saw the movie, found it just theek thaak, not too interesting & entertaining, it was..but in bits & parts not thoroughally enjoyable, nothing new in story, and frankly if I would have not knew it was a novel's adaptation, I could not even think that as this film feels like any regular routine bollywood film based on a cliched' script, barring its exciting title/name or the unique combo of amrita & revathi.
Films like shadi kay side effects and Main tera hero were more or less at the same level...but did just average business...almost half business of 2 states. Highway and HTP were better movies but only hit hardly 30 crorrs lifetime, even an exceptional movie Queen did 60 cr total lifetime...
I have nothing against 2 'states. It was just a fair timepass film at best, I like both the lead players and all of the character actors, glad it worked for the industry... BUT.. being just a viewer, I cant get simply that what was so special that this film not only took a great start, but still holding extremely well and great chances to do or even cross 100 crore mark... seriously boxoffice is out of anyone's understanding.
