Dear diary,
In a nutshell: Sanam gets to Bhopal, Badi Ammi's reasons to keep away from Bhopal are not reasonable enough...She landsin teh middle of teh night, and gets work as a waitress. She longs to open her chain of Dhaabas and does not miss an opportunity dreaming about her venture. Quite a resilient heroine- she is funny, down to earth, smart and focussed.Being all alone in the big bad city, one can expect her to land up in all sorts of troubles...and she gets kicked out of her first job in no time. (SJ looked fabulous in that uniform...skirts and frocks are her best look!)
Aahil has a huge family. Left to himself, he wants to hide under the shade of khalnaayak...he turns a hero only for his family. He would give life for his Ammi- the woman who suppposedly' took the blame for a murder a child committed' in accident- an act that terrorises and shames and makes him hate himself to this day...(what have U done to a little boy, psycho Tanveer!!!😡😲)
He would take life for his little sister who falls sick very often- Naziya. At first, I wondered if she was Bili's kitten, seeing how deathly pale she looked!🤔 At close quarters, she looks quite harmless- shades of Anjali, minus the grace and poise, of course. There is a quiet charm about her...and one can sympathise with her health issues.😊
And then there is Shaziya- one whom Aahil cannot understand for the life of him!👏 If she is not negative, she is a little patakha...I had wanted Nussat to be this...pampered, unpredictable, totally beyond her bhaijaan's understanding- the cool teenager!👍🏼😆 Though the actress failed to impress on first look, I hope the character wil be made to look more interesting in future. I loved how Aahil has to simply give up, when it comes to her. She lives by her own set of rules..really really hope she is not Bili's progeny!😃
Sanam bonding with Naziya will be sweet...with Shaziya, it can go through various shades. This bhabhi and nanat could be a very explosive combination, and if they joined hands, Aahil and his pseudo Ammi could be taken for a ride😉..potential is there, God knows what the creatives have in mind. Considering the actress was quite average, I am guessing it will be a neutral character.
Khaala and Co: a shadow of Manorama Mami. As of now, thats all I can say about her, since MM was the character that drew me to IPKKND- had such awesome dialogues- and was one of the best written comic characters on Tellyland. The actress here is pretty good...I hope the characterisation and dialogues support her.😊
Latif: The ever faithful nanny...hope they can explore the potential of this character. (A little disappointed that Sanam's helper - lambu or sumthing, right?- was limited to a few shots. He must have been inspired by the workshop guy in IPKKND!😃)
Suddenly, a lot of new characters came into the picture...they all seem like average actors, compared to the stellar cast we had in season one. I hope the script makes them come through...😳
And the most important Q is, what is their equation with Tanveer- the mahamangaa of QH2!
As of now, I hope Tanveer will have some more time in jail, before she is out to play in the open field. How would she react to Sanam? Would she launch an offence, or be defensive?😲
Anwar: As if we were not confused enough with so many new characters, Cvs throw in an Anwar to add to the mayhem- the more the merrier?😕
Rehaan: After SaAhil, he rmains the most interesting face.👏 If Aahil has to choose between Sanam and Ammi, I guess Rehaan will have to choose between Aahil Bhai and Begum Sahiba. He is the mirror Aahil prefers to look away from. He thinks the mirror lies to hm! i Rehaan has more faith in Aahil, than the man himself.👏
SaAhil- Hope and Despair. : Aahil runs from pillar to post in search of one thing- happiness. He believes money can buy anything- that he cannot buy happiness must mean it does not exist? Or maybe he has not looked enough? Or it is a curse that is not going to leave him ever? What success and a loving family cannot make him forget, he hopes can be washed away by that thing he has been seeking. He cannot fathom what it is that would make him feel complete, hence he continues to look in the wrong places.
Sanam knows what she wants. Her happiness lies in seeing the smiles of the people she loves- blessed are those who are fortunate enough to fall in that category. The day Aahil enters that space, his despair will be washed away by hope.🤗
PS: SM looks every bit the mad house it always was. Must be a cursed place! I wonder if it is indeed SM according to the story...If so, did Billi trap the new rich guy in town and make him buy the remains and renovate it? The Gate outside SM looks sillier than before! I am not blaming anyone, since we all know what the budget must be like! On that note, I guess I should not even mention the Coffee Shop!
