I still dont get it whether they are looking for talent or People who have the x factor. Some of the contestants that sang were better but because of their appearance they werent asked to come to mumbai. and The comments they judges are passing aren't appropriate. They should be who they are . Not try to copy the judges of American Idol or anything... The judges honestly need to see what they are saying.

Udit Naryan as singer is awesome but as a judge I think he is over powered by Anu malik and Alisha

I agree with you .. She was really good .. At least to my ears and I couldn't tell if she was in sur or not coz I have no knowledge of that .. And thought she might be right ...

It's really sad to hear this ..

Anu - Alisha says no udit jee says yes and now it depends on me...(creates suspense) and says tht jo baat awaz mein honi chaiye thi woh hai...and u r cuming to mumbai. Girl is ofcoz...happy...😃😃

Alisha - The voice is not in sur....so cannot cum to mumbai.

Udit -'Jo umar hai aapki aur jis tarhan aapne gaya toe aise talent ko aage aana chaiyee. Can cum to mumbai.

This girl was so far the best I have heard in Indian Idol and her voice was flawless . The judgement should have been unanimous . Uditji said the right thing Later Alisha said aapne sur me nahin gaya WTF !!! I was totally put of by her attitude !! Does she have a problem with her ears !😡

I seriously cant trust her judgement after that episode for sure !!

exactly i remember that episode!😃

I don't agree with you. I think that she was out of sur at parts and to the untrained ear, it might sound great. But Alisha was looking at the technicalities. How many of us can say that we are trained enough in music to be able to understand when someone is in sur or not.

I would also disagree with this topic because if Alisha had said that the girl was good then no one would have a problem. So if someone states an opinion that they think someone else is out of sur, then everyone starts writing them hate mail.

This is the problem with with mass reaction. Once someone incorrectly starts hating on someone else, everyone else joins the bandwagon.

Also, to make a statement that you hate her shows that it's all or nothing- you either like her or hate her. Sometimes we can like someone but disagree with their actions. This doesn't call for a blanket, generalized hate statement.

Its not a hate mail😊 Thats why the word 'Shocked' If I hate Alisha then wats shocking that she rejects a good contestant . I would plainly written so . I was ok with her judement until this girl happened to sing .

And I dont agree with the trained n untrained ears funda .Everyone knows when they hear a good voice .Thats why people are either a hit or a flop . U dont need a Alisha Chinoy to come n tell u whether that person is good or bad .If a mass feels he/she is good then it is so ! U may need training to sing but not to hear !

Point noted. But I would kindly disagree (again) on the your final statement that everyone knows when they hear a good voice. That's not always true. People don't pick by voice, they pick for other reasons - looks, region, anything. This is why it's so important to have people like Alisha, who have the power to impact the outcome of the show, to pick people who are the best of the best.

And even if people did vote according to voice, they are not translating that into votes. I happen to think that Sandeep Acharya is a good example - so don't anyone jump on me for that. He was, in my opinion, one of the least deserving of that crown from the Top 5. There were better singers like Amey and Karunya and Meenal. Yet the public voted for Sandeep because he was "cute."

I agree with all ur points deepa 😊.

See these judges sometimes select some people just like that ,when they are just average singers ,giving them some benifit of doubt .And also some terrible singers as well ,reasons for which I cant guess .So when a girl who can sing well comes along (keeping aside some minor fault ,like some tune out of place which only alisha happened to notice ) I felt it was unfair to reject her directly . 😊

Okay, truce. There's no way for either one of us to win this one! We can agree to disagree?
