Whereas they do need the viewership of those 800 homes which determines the TRP which is important for sponsorship.
So I guess this is a ploy by ZEE to make the viewers to watch EMA at its telecast time i.e. 7 in the evening.That would be more TRPs and at the same time viewers wont be able to watch some other program on a rival channel.So to boost TRPs and to draw away viewers from another channel at the same time slot,ZEE has opted for this method,I guess.
I think that's the strategy for ZEE.
