The media and paparazzi have to give it to Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra for tying the knot on the quiet without anyone getting a whiff of their wedding.

That Rani and Aditya were a couple was a forgone conclusion for everyone. But few had expected that the actress and the YRF honcho would tie the knot so secretly, as they did on Monday in Italy.

More surprising is that many of the couple's very close friends from the industry were also clueless about the wedding until the news came out.

Well, given Aditya Chopra's highly reclusive nature and almost obsessive shunning of the media, the hush-hush wedding should have been expected.

In fact, one filmmaker from Bollywood is quoted as saying that Rani and Aditya probably got married a year back and have now made their wedding public. We take that with a pinch of salt.

Whatever the truth, Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra aren't the first ones to tie the knot without any fanfare. A lot of Bollywood celebs have opted for hush-hush, quiet, weddings without the pomp and ostentation of a typical fat Indian wedding.
