Durga tells Dayal that he is absolutely right and no one can be a captain than Sakshi for this project and Dayal nods and asks Suchitra who agrees that it is an excellent choice while Sakshi looks surprised and Shaurya is happy. Everyone raises a toast to Sakshi who thanks them and says she is honored. Durga tells her she is happy and thrilled to be working with her and there is so much to learn from her and thinks that if you want to pull the mask off your enemy then one must go near them and then not just the mask you can also pull the ground underneath them.
In Thakur mansion Dayal asks Durga how could she even think that Sakshi would head the project when Suchitra owns the land but Durga interrupts him saying that she has saved Suchitra from Sakshi as Sakshi wouldn't want anyone to go ahead of her reminds him about how Choudary was ousted from the deal and if Suchitra had taken over, then her ego would be hurt and she wouldn't care even about relations. She also says this will give her an opportunity to get close to Sakshi and get one step ahead of her in future and Dayal laughs.
In Goenka mansion, Sakshi tells Raj that he must be happy now that he got Suchitra's land. Raj tells her but she is the project head and if she gives him the land, she will take it. Sakshi smiles and tells him that whatever is hers is his as well but Durga means nothing to them. Then why was she being so generous or did her generosity have ulterior motives? Raj asks her if she is doubting the kid(Durga) or herself and mocks her asking her to have some confidence on herself. Sakshi thinks that it is necessary to doubt even if your happiness is a little too much.
Dayal tells Durga to keep in mind that the land belongs to Suchitra and it should be that way and Sakshi should not be able to make it in her name to which Durga assures him that she has spoken to the lawyer and they will get the deal papers done. Dayal appreciates her and tells her that she is already one step ahead but asks her to be careful and Sakshi tells him she will be and she won't let them catch her. She also adds that she believes in keeping her enemies closer than her friends.
Shaurya tells his friend that he will not be able to buy the car by staring at it and reminds him that his dad has cut his pocket money too. He replies that he is aware of it but he won't take the money for this from his dad. His other friend asks him from whom and he says from the new girl whom Shaurya is not able to charm. His other friend asks him if Shaurya lost the bet and he replies that he will lose as he could not even hold her hand. Shaurya shoots one of the beer bottles and assures them that before the timeline of the bet comes to a close, the girl will be his. His friend gets a call but he cuts it saying he will call back and tells Shaurya that he will book the car since Durga won't be his by the week but the car will surely be his and his friends hi-fi while Shaurya looks worried.
Sakshi is on a video call with Mathur over the phone who tells her that he isn't able to track Arul Mukherjee and it seems like the ground swallowed him and Sakshi smirks telling Mathur she thought he was intelligent and he has managed to do something which many couldn't in a long time and that is prove her wrong. She chides him asking him not to give childish excuses as he may not be in the country itself but Mathur tells her that she is giving undue importance to him. Sakshi tells him that she is giving him the necessary importance as he isn't a business rival or a social contender but is someone close who is executing enmity feigning friendship. Mathur is thoughtful and Sakshi tells him she won't accept defeat and cuts the call.
Choudary gets an anonymous call from a stranger who says that he may not anything about him but he knows everything about Choudary and how he was cheated. Choudary pretends not to understand and asks him what is he talking about and the guy asks about whom should he talk? Rajnath Goenka or his friend, Saketh. Choudary is alarmed and asks him what is he talking about but the guy asks him what can he do for him and cuts the call. It turns out that the unknown caller was none other than Dayal who spoke in a different voice. Durga tells Dayal one down and one more to go.
Mathur gets a call from Dayal in his office. Its Dayal pretending to be an anonymous caller again and he tells Mathur he can give information on Arul Mukherjee and the person he was working for. Mathur asks him who it is and Dayal tells him that's none of his concern but he can quote his price to give that information. Mathur asks him when and where and Dayal tells him HHI and cuts the call. He tells Durga that mouse trap is ready and Durga says the mouse will come and get trapped. She tells him she will finish the rest of her work.
Shaurya is taking Durga to office so that she can take her tablet back. Durga tells him what was the need and he could have called her and told her to take it back. Shaurya shrugs it off saying they are partners and partners help each other. Durga says they are and adds they are business partners. Shaurya tells her its the same and 3 days ago they didn't know each other and Durga teases him that he is now her driver. Shaurya says he is willing to be anything for her, driver or gardener and Durga laughs playfully and Shaurya tells her she looks beautiful when she laughs and she is his life, his destiny. Flashback is shown where Payal is standing outside the gates of Goenka mansion and Shaurya tells her that he writes the destiny of people like her and this is what is written in hers and walks away as Payal shouts after him and later runs into the arms of a woman. Back in present, Durga thinks that only she is in his destiny and she will turn his life into death. Shaurya asks her if he can be honest and she asks him if he wasn't honest till now to which he replies that he is not joking and he wants to tell her something. He tells her she must have heard many things about him that he is a playboy who roams with girls. He says he didn't care about what people thought about him but now he is tensed and Durga asks him why. He tells her its coz of her as he doesn't think of her just as a friend and Durga asks him to stop. Shaurya stops the car at a signal and tells her he wants to tell her straight forwardly that he is falling for her and Durga asks him to be careful and not fall since he could hurt himself. Shaurya tells her she isn't understanding him but Durga tells him that for now they are better off as friends and later they can see where they are headed and tells him to concentrate on the road. Shaurya tells her his eyes are always on the road like a good driver but he needs a co-driver. Shaurya thinks that the more she makes him suffer she will also feel pain and he will get her and make her dance to his tunes and that's his promise.
Mathur is waiting by the pool side and Choudary has also come there and seems like he too is waiting for someone and he smiles and waves at him. Choudary greets him and tells him he was wondering who this handsome man was to which Mathur replies that his eyes always fall on handsome men. Choudary seems embarrassed and diverts the topic and asks him if he can join him and Mathur agrees while someone from behind is clicking their pictures. Mathur thinks he should not be siting with him but he did and Choudary is wondering why Mathur is there. Mathur thinks that when that man comes he will make an excuse and leave from there. Choudary asks him what he will have but Mathur declines and Choudary tells him to let him be of service to him atleast once. The hotel manager comes and tells Choudary that someone left something at the reception for him thinking him to be Mathur hands a briefcase and Choudary points at Mathur and tells him that it is he who is Mathur and the manager apologises. Choudary hands him the bag and the person hiding takes the pictures. Mathur wonders who could have sent the briefcase and asks the manager if he is sure it is for him and the manager asks him if he is V. Mathur and Mathur tells him he is Naveen Mathur and its good they got to know this and hands him the briefcase back. The manager takes it and turns his back away from them and nods at the person hiding.
Shaurya brings Durga to Goenka office and she notices that nobody has lit the diya before God's idol. She asks Shaurya if she can light it if he doesn't mind and he tells her to go ahead. Durga lights the diya and then the incense sticks and thinks to herself that with your blessings everything will be all right.
In the hotel, Mathur wonders where is that person and he can't even call him and he should have taken their number and the waiter gets them drinks at them and the photographer is taking pictures as they raise their glass and clink.
Durga is in Shaurya's chamber and he asks her if she remembers and she tells him she can't recollect where she kept it. When Shaurya is looking elsewhere she tells him she found it and picks it up from the bean bag and acts like she is relieved to get it back. She tells him that she was anxious when it was not with her since it has become a habit to have it around and she tells him she should leave. Shaurya asks so soon and stops her and asks her for coffee but Durga tells him not today and Shaurya completes her sentence for her saying she has her NGO meeting and he tells her he is jealous and wishes he could be her NGO. Durga asks him where is the washroom out of the blue and he is shocked for a moment but he gets over it when she asks him again and he directs her and when she goes away without saying anything, he tells himself thanks on her behalf. Durga hands him the tablet asking him to keep it safe else she will lose it in the washroom and tells him she will wait downstairs for him and he agrees. Durga comes out and puts her plans into action and a flashback is shown where Durga would have stored Shaurya's pics in her tablet. Cut to present, she says to herself that a surprise is waiting for you Shaurya and he can enjoy. She enters the control room when no one is noticing her and turns off the CC TV. She says to herself that Mathur can wait with Choudary in the hotel while she will execute part 2 of the plan.
In the car, Shaurya is checking out Durga's tablet to see what her likes and dislikes are. He notices she likes flowers and wonders why she didn't thank him when he sent the flowers to her.
Durga comes out of the control room and takes the incense sticks with her.
Shaurya sees his picture in the tablet and feels happy and says that even now she has doubts regarding him in her mind but atleast he is in her mind.
Durga goes to the washroom and holds the incense sticks close to the alarm which sets off because of the smoke and an announcement is made where the employees are asked to evacuate the building because of fire. A chaos breaks out and everyone start running around and Durga slips into Mathur's cabin. She starts looking inside the files. Shaurya comes into the building and he asks the security why the alarm was set off to which he replies that a fire broke out in the upper floors. He asks which floor and the guard replies the one where his office is. Shaurya runs off while the guard tries to stop him. Durga continues searching Mathur's office.
Sakshi comes to office and she is surprised to see the fire alarm set off and asks the guard who tells her that a fire broke out in Shaurya's floor and he is there. She gets worried and goes off to find him.
Shaurya is running upstairs pushing people who are rushing down and on the other hand Sakshi comes inside and is fuming at the guard for allowing Shaurya in. The guard tells her he didn't listen and Sakshi asks who else is there to which he replies no one and they are evacuating the building. She threatens the guard if something happens to Shaurya she won't spare him as he couldn't stop him. Shaurya reaches his floor and thanks God for giving him the opportunity to save Durga like a hero and take her in his arms and engulf her in his embrace and thinks to himself that he never thought it would be so easy to win the bet and he is gleeful. He tells Here I come Durga and goes smiling. The guard who is on walkie talkie says its all clear and he will check Mathur's cabin now. Durga hides below the chair and the guard after taking a look confirms the cabin is empty. Sakshi catches up with Shaurya and asks him sternly what he is doing there to which he replies he is searching for Durga and Sakshi is surprised to know Durga is there. Durga starts copying some files from Mathur's PC onto her pen drive and on the other hand Sakshi asks Shaurya what was Durga doing there to which he tells her to relax and informs her that she had left her tablet in his office and after collecting it she went to washroom and he went downstairs to wait for her when the alarm went off. So he came to find her. Sakshi asks him if he found her and he says no and she tells him that she wasn't downstairs as well. Shaurya thinks she may be in the washroom and rushes to find her. The guard tells Sakshi that all floors are clear and it was a false alarm. Sakshi tells in an irritated tone to shut the alarm off if it was false and asks for Mathur and he tells her he left an hour ago for a meeting. She tells the guard to call him and ask him to come back immediately as she wants to talk to him. Sakshi is heading towards Mathur's cabin as Durga is copying the files and when she is near the files are almost copied and Durga looks up worried.
Precap - Sakshi enters the cabin but Durga would have escaped by the window and Sakshi scrutinizes the place.
