Hello friends, I am not a regular member of this forum, but a regular viewer of SP'S MB. Wanted to share something, the missing points in this MB.
1) The Dyoota episode :
First of all, Draupadi never came to the hall so many times. She only came once, that too when Dusshasan dragged her by her hair to the court. And she was pulled and dragged by her hair only, not like how SP showed it Second point is that after the dyoota ended, as Panchali asked for the freedom of her husbands and the returning of their weapons, they all returned back to Indraprastha, they were re-invited for another game of Dyoota, where nothing was put at stake, except the condition that whoever lost would go to exile for 12 yrs and a year of disguise. SP combined both the dyoota episodes🤢
2) Krishna meeting the Pandavas after the dyoota :
Krishna didn't meet the Pandavas and Draupadi in Indraprastha. When they all reach the forests, then only Krishna arrives with His wives, and consoles them. SP created a new legend here😵
3) Durvasa story :
There were many mistakes in SP's portrayal of the Durvasa story. The real story is when the Pandavas went to the forests, many Brahmins ( from Indraprastha ) accompanied them. In the forest, the Pandavas were worried about providing food for so many people. So Lord Krishna advised them to pray to Lord Surya ( the Sun God ). Yudhishthira agreed and did penance for many days, propitiating Surya. After the penance, Surya got pleased and gave a Akshaya Paatra, a plate which never ran out of food and gave whatever food asked. The rider accompanying the plate was that it would give unlimited amount of food, as much as Draupadi desired, but after she had her food from the plate, it would not give anything until the next day.
SP didn't show this story. And when Sage Durvasa arrived in the ashrama of the Pandavas, he told them to prepare food for him and his numerous disciples while they all went to theriver to take their bath. Meanwhile, Draupadi got worried as she had had her food and had washed the plate and kept it for drying. Helpless and fearing the sage's rage, she prayed to Krishna for help. Krishna immediately appeared, and asked Draupadi for some food, as He was also feeling hungry ! Panchali, already distressed, chided Him for making fun of her. Krishna, ever playful asked her to bring the plate. A small piece of vegetable was stuck to it. Govind ate it and lo ! As the Lord of the Universe ate the piece, the stomachs of Sage Durvasa and all his disciples also got filled !😆 They all started letting off huge belches !😆 Suspecting that Krishna might have helped them, and fearing tht the Pandavas might curse them for not coming for food now, they took to their heels😉
bUT SP weaved a new fable, especially the scene where the Pandavas are about to take their food and all that, Durvasa sitting there for chanting the Gayatri mantra, all was made up👏🤢
4) Urvashi's curse :
After Arjuna got the Pashupataastra, Lord Indra took him to Amaravati, the city of the Gods, in Swarga or Heaven, where he lived for one year. During that one year, Urvashi took a liking to Arjun one day and wanted to make love to him ( but as Urvashi was the wife of Puruvara, an ancestor of Arjun, he didn't agree, as she was equal to a mother for him). Urvashi got furious by the refusal and cursed him that he would be an eunuch for one year. Arjuna got shocked hearing this, but Indra reassured him, telling the curse would help him in his year of disguise. The story was not shown.
5) Arjun getting the Pashupatastra :
When both Arjuna and Lord Shiva hit the boar with their arrows, Lord Shiva was in the disguise of a tribal leader with Goddess Parvati as His wife. There were NO tribal soldiers around. And after the duel between Arjuna and Lord Shiva, Arjuna got frustrated and made a mud Shiva linga and worshipped it with flowers. To his shock, the flowers disappeared and reappeared at the feet of Shiva and Parvati. Seeing this Arjuna realized the the tribal chief and his wife were Shiva-Parvati.
There are many such missing loopholes and stories not portrayed at all. The story of Bakasura was forgotten in the annals of Star Plus' Mahabarat. Additionally when the Pandavas were in exile, many incidents took place. None of them were shown. And the stoy is progressing SO fast.
When the other serials on SP and other channels are on air for so many years creating stories, what is the need for increasing the pace of MB ???😕 And WHY is the story being rewritten ? All the correct stories that I have mentioned here would have added a LOT of TRPS to the show.😊 God knows why SP is doing this, due to spiralling of costs or some other reason.
