Qubool Hai season two started off with a bang.
The montage is still the same. A heart wrenching scene was perfectly nailed by Shalini when she was informed that all inhabitants of SM perished in the fire.
Why is Sanam like that? Ye uski aadat nahin Viraasat hai :)
Sanam Ahmed Khan, an angelic beauty with a rustic touch, daughter of the taciturn, cleanliness freak, emotionally challenged traditionalist, Mr. Asad Ahmed khan and the vivacious, messy, effervescent, shayari sprouting feminist Zoya Ahmed Khan.
She has OCD, does impromptu shayaris, her takiya kalam is Allah Miyan pai gaya panga. She is loquacious like her mother responsible like her dad.. She sounds like an educated Dhabbe wali.
Sanam Ahmed Khan has AsYa written all over her. <3
As promised Aahil Raza Ibrahim entered Sanam's world and turned it upside down.
KVB is looking good as Aahil Raza Ibrahim, a philandered with a win at all cost attitude. looks like a promiscuous young businessman with a weakness for the three Ws... women , wine and wealth.
QH is once again poetically engrossing. I love the concept of layered storytelling juxtaposed with drama and romance. The episode had a season one flavor to it and yet had freshness. This is once again a very engaging story where Dilshad, sanam and Haya had to reconstruct their life after a psychopath turned their world upside down in a few minutes.
I think that the pacing will ensure that the mystery will unravel gradually with plenty of romance ,drama,intrigue and suspense. We will be privy to the story of Sanam Ahmed Khan first and till then Seher's fate will be under wraps. Overall they will be retreading old grounds but hopefully they will get it right this time.
Once again QH is very hard to look away from. :)

Perfect touch: The spelling of Chinese was misspelled in the Dhaba hoarding.
Needless to say Sanam is the perfect Punjabi kudi.
Lambu is another , well... interesting character.
Sanam has already been engaged to Anwar.
And Haya is deaf and dumb. :(

She must have started a Dhaba when the girls were young and named it Sanam Da Dhaba because earlier Dilshad used to stich clothes for a living, she led the life of a seamstress. And I am very sure that Haya and Sanam are getting college education. Honest work is never bad. She had to start all over again and this must have clicked in comparison with other options. Also Dhabas and chains of Dhabas are very popular on highways in Punjab.
Here the love triangle will be different because they started with a love triangle and hopefully it will be dealt with before OTPs are established and confession takes place.
This has all the ingredients of a good drama... lets see if they are mixed properly.
I for one am very hopeful.
Also Sanam is no longer NY returned at times OTT Zoya. She has a certain calmness and shyness about her which is a treat to watch.
