I came across this article wanted to share
History tells us that Akbar ordered Man Singh to subjugate the Afghans. Jaipur folklore has it that Man Singh plundered Afghanistan and returned with a lot of treasure. It also alleges that he did not share the treasure with Akbar but hoarded it in Jaigarh fort.
I wonder did Akbar have any loyal relative or friend?
Even Man Singh never gave the treasure to emperor and kept it himself. I am sure Akbar knew about it but kept quiet.
I feel Atagah was most loyal person he had apart from Todarmal, Abul Fazl and Birbal. What do you think?

Appalled to hear that Maan wasn't a staunch courtier or rather a ratna.
Fancy keeping all the treasure to himself.

That was in UP this fort is in rajasthan near jaipur
That was another king not man singh
That king hid treasure to fight against britishers
Man Singh family did not fight britishers they were friends with britishers
Akbar was powerful so they became his friends and relative then Britishers came and became more powerful they became friends
Only those kings who accepted british rule were not killed/looted/empire taken away.
Those who opposed them be it mughals/tipu sultan, rani laxmi bai etc and their family's were all killed and their kingdom and property taken away

disclaimer :don't confuse jodha with muz...!!
yes, bcoz jodha bai was man singh's sister only...muz married her niece to her son...she was the most beloved wife of jahengir before nur jahan...!!!...and bcoz of her only man singh and jehangir had a fight...(jodha tried to commit suicide)...
akbar never maried jodha...jodha(princess of jodhpur) had som connections to jodhpur...maybe her mother hailed from jodhpur...
!!
