According to a source, the two have been caught in a bit of a tussle, all thanks to a commercial featuring Anushka Sharma and Virat. " Ranveer was supposedly the one who introduced Anushka and Virat. He knew Virat much before when the two had met at a party and had just exchanged pleasantries. After that, they kept bumping into each other and became friendly and at one such party, Ranveer introduced the two to each other. Ever since, the two hit it off and have been spotted painting the town red each time Virat is in town. Anushka even flew to Auckland to be with Virat when the Indian team was in New Zealand for a tournament.
Meanwhile, Anushka was offered an endorsement deal. After hearing reports of an alleged affair between Anushka and Virat, the brand signed up Virat for the deal. Apparently, the brand was considering Ranveer before news of the linkup came out and the endorsement ended up going to Virat," says a source.
However, this is not apparently the only reason. It can be recalled that Ranveer and Anushka were in a relationship before the two called it quits. He moved on to date Deepika and Anushka to Virat. This, apparently, didn't go down too well with Ranveer as he was kept in the dark about their relationship when he was the one who introduced them to each other in the first place. And now, obviously, the two aren't friends anymore.
