Update – September 15th 2005
Piya rebukes Karan for having told her that he loves her etc. Piya is incensed and angry.. and when Karan tries to pull her hand, she snaps at him completely and shouts at him for having touched her etc. Piya really took off and Karan and puts him in his place that he was so low enough that he did not miss the first opportunity, knowing that piya and Anand have separated to jump on her.
Dolly spies Palomi going out.
Geetha talks to Akash's friends about their proposed marriage and tells them to give him the space for he is busy with his family and his proposed business. Her friends are concerned that Akash may drift away from her and may not even marry her etc.. but Geetha is convinced that he loves her and his family has also accepted her and so she is confident that once the present tensions are over, he will most certainly marry her.
Ratna is clearing up the mess from the floor. Anand apologises to her for messing up.. Ratna reminds him that he was late to go and meet Batra. Ratna asks him about dinner and Anand tells her that he has a dinner party of Bhaskar to attend. Ratna expresses her dilemma that she is not sure whats to be the outcome of their relationship. Whether Anand loves Ratna and will stay with her, or will he go back to Piya or what… Anand asks her about the characters of her new book, but Ratna says that they are not coming out the way they should. Ratna offers to call up Bhaskar and wish him and Anand says it's a silly question and she should do it. Anand is about to leave when Ratna asks him how long he intends to hide their relationship, how long will he avoid taking Ratna with him.. how long will he be ashamed to be seen with her in public. Ratna again taunts him to take her with him to Bhaskars party. She says that it hurts that she is not fit enough to be taken out in public with him. She is very upset and is forced to think about the future of their relationship.
Anands mom is upset with Palomi about how she has been fooling everyone that she has been going out with Amrik and other friends… she wants to know who had come to drop off Palomi. Palomi tells her it was Yash. Dolly had told her mom about Palomi being dropped off by another boy. Palomi tells them that she loves Yash.. and Anands mom is very upset… she says that its not Dollys age to be talking about love etc… but Palomi insists on it and says that if anand can do it, why cant she. Hearing this, her mom slaps her. Dolly enjoys the fun of watching the two fight.
Piyas parents talk about her.
Anands mom inquries about his whereabouts and then confronts him to ask him if Ratna has started living in that house. Anand says that they are all aware of his relationship iwht Ratna, so it is natural that Ratna will come there. Anands mom gives him a ear ful about Ratna and tells him that the house is of Piya and there will never ever be any place for Ratna in that house.
Anand goes to Bhaskars party and is having a merry time. He sees Piya at the party and is surprised. He keeps gaping at her. Piya spots him and looks away. But when he goes close, almost as if she put on a mask, Piya smiles and speaks nicely to Anand. Bhaskar comes and is happy to see Piya come, and she replies that she finished off work early and has come back to attend the party.
Piya talks to Bhaskar for a while and then Bhaskar excuses himself for a while. Anand asks her about her trip and how she managed to cut it short. Piya says that she was to stay back for longer, but returned back early becos of Karan. Anand is instantly jealous. Piya tells him that Karan is very intelligent. He has sighted Anand with Ratna and knew that Piya is not with Anand any longer. He did not miss the opportunity and immediately proposed to her. Anand is so jealous that he is angry. And Piya assures him that Karan has simply behaved with her the way men deal with a single woman in society. Anand is angry and rants and raves that Piya is not a single woman, that Anand has not left Piya, that she is not alone, and if the world believes that Anand has left Piya, the world is wrong.. and while he is saying this Piya tries to assuage him that there was nothing wrong with what karan did… and at that moment, Piya spies Ratna walk into the room. Ratna hears the last part of Anand comment that the world is wrong in assuming that Anand has left Piya and is shocked. Piya looks over Anands shoulder and Anand turns back and sees Ratna. It ends with Anands shocked face!!!
