well then the news paper has got it wrong! I m a pure Marathi u see. and Tatyaa is a marathi charactor. I know. beleive me. 😊😊

Katya doesn't mean anything. Taatyaa is a commanly addressed name specially in rural parts. It means a brother sortof thing..

yup the full name of the character is tatya kote patil.. he, sai baba and mhalspati were very close friends. 😊
