So Sharman Joshi is married to Prem Chopra's daughter. And I guess its not important for her to be on this Family tree cos she is not famous?

Siddhart Malhotra, Premnath's grandson... Is he the guy who directed We Are Family or this guy is the one who made Dil Mill Gaye?

The guy who directed WAF was Siddharth Malhotra.

The guy who made DMG was Siddharth's dad, Prem Kishen (Premnath and actress Bina Rai's son).

Prem Kishen is the head honcho of Cinevista, the makers of DMG.

Btw, wasn't aware Prem Kishen was Prem Nath's son... though we've watched his Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Mann Bhaye more than 10 times (Because of my dad 😆).

Its all in the family. We are talking abt Baap Beta here. 😆 Baap heads the production house, Cinevista and Beta directed the the KJo banner movie WAF.

Prem kishen has been in the business for a while. Initially as an actor and after he failed, he started the prod house Cinevista. They have been making TV serials since ages, DD days... Gul gulshan gulfam, Junoon, katha sagar etc.

Siddharth P Malhotra joined Cinevista later as a creative director. He was the one who created the shows, Sanjivani and later DMG. In recent times, ek hazaron meri behna and now the recently launched show, Ek hasina thi.

Since his family was close with Kjo's family, he was associated with Dharma Productions too. Siddharth's mom ( Premkishen's wife) and KJo's mom, Hiru are big time buddies since a long time, meeting up every week for lunch and card sessions...

Siddharth was an assistant at Dharma Productions... worked as an AD there for a while in some of KJo movies and later made his director debut with WAF.

Most of the talent that came out of Dharma productions were industry kids. Kjo the godfather gave them a career break. Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Siddharth P Malhotra, Ayan Mukherjee etc. worked as assistant directors in Kjo's films.

Since i ended up with an essay writing abt this family, let me add... Premkishen launched his daughter Akanksha Malhotra in a 2002 movie, Yeh Mohabbat hai that bombed at the BO. She married after that.
