Where has the girl from Barfi gone?

Why is she choosing such ridiculous roles and films??! She was simply awful in PPNH, I watched 30 mins and her acting was so off putting that I had to switch off. Then came the trailers of MTH, it seems like she is playing the same role again!

She's the future Asin, in terms of pathetic movie choices (minus the 100 crore films). And this girl won a filmfare debut. Kuch toh sharam karo, filmfare award ki izzat toh rako!!!

I think a lot of the times, we tend to judge these actors too harshly for the roles they are doing...i mean actresses choose roles from the films they are offered right? if shes not offered films like barfi anymore, (which i think is the case because i dunt hear her name being associated with any of the big heroine projects) the best she can do is pick the films that she thinks have commercial potential, albeit with crappy roles...I mean what choice do they have to keep themselves in the limelight keep the career and cash flow going...? i mean, if they are offered 10 crappy roles, the best they can do is chose the lesser of all evils (i.e big director, big/promising actor) and be happy abt that...

How can anyone debut against 'The Meryl Streep Of India' and then expect to be succesful?

All the good roles go to Meryl & the plain looking bol-diya-kar-diya pind girls.. what can these shehri outsiders do. 😆

Maybe roles like Barfi weren't offered to her. I mean if she declined another Barfi and opted to do comedy or masala films then I would condemn her but I think she possesses a lot of potential and definitely needs to get recognized again. I thought she was good in MTH. Ilu's hot, she's talented so I hope something big comes her way and Ilu impresses the audience again 👍🏼

Problem is she is probably the 5-6th choice for films and usually the 1st or 2nd will take the films, i.e. Alia or Pari. Despite a great debut she was never in the running nor was she ever considered for major roles.

Sad thing is that Ileana is genuinely hot lol. She is pretty, great body and can act. Well what can you do? I feel bad for her though.
