So I dont take the media seriously anymore. What we do know is that Ratnam's wife and Ash's PR have both confirmed her doing the film.

Well, it's up to her really... Aish is in her 40's... If she delays a child at this age (god forbid) there can be complication so it's better to be on the safer side ... Besides, it doesn't really matter does it??? She will do movies when she is comfortable , it's not that the industry is flying away... As much as some want her back, she is a mother and all children crave a mothers attention to a certain age...

Last time she tried to multi-task it turned into a disaster lol, remember the Heroine debacle haha, she tried to continue it while being pregnant but that didnt work out too well. Regardless, I think maybe she doesn't want to comeback as much. It looks like shes lost the fire and ambition but that's okay cuz I think most women become like that when they become mothers. But she has signed 1 movie and is rumored to be in 3-4 other ones, so that's a good sign!

At least she is getting strong offers! That too her being a 40-year old married actress with a child, who else commands that kind of demand? Look at her so called contemporaries...unemployed Rani whose boyfriend is making a movie for her Or Unemployed and single Preity who produced her own movie that tanked badly and has zero offers.

I think compared to her contemporaries shes doing quite well. In her own way and right her reign for her fans never ended. No other actress commands this much popularity. Even Rani and Preity who were considered better than her at one time cant even get a movie on their own merit today, at least Ash still has that!
