Chapter 4

At Celina's place.

It's a bachelor flat in a multistoried building. ETF broke into her place and found that whole apartment in sixes and sevens. Like somebody searched the place earlier. They started searching the place. When Aisha noticed some shadow inside the room.

She moved to Rathod and whispered in his ear.

Aisha : Sir, we have company.

Rathod followed her gesturing hand and noticed some movement behind the curtains. He and Aisha mad a quick plan to seize that intruder.

They moved to the curtain. Aisha took out her gun, Rathod looked at her, counted three in his fingers and moved the curtain. They found Kabir pointing his gun to Rathod.

Aisha : oye... gun neeche kar!!

Kabir : Ladies first...pehle aap gun neeche kijiye madam!!

Rathod : What are you doing here??

Kabir : searching for evidences..(he put his gun in holster)

Aisha : Like this! You just squandered this place.

Kabir : I didn't do that!! I found this place deranged!! And why you still pointing that damm gun to me?? We're in same team, sweetie!

Aisha : Don't call me that!!

Kabir : Ok..I think you gonna find nothing here...those people already took for what they came for.

Arjun Entered at the same time.

Arjun : How you are so sure about it?

Kabir : Because they turned down my place too...when I returned from ETF to home, I already found my place deranged...

Arjun : You saw those people?

Kabir : Yup...I saw everything they did in my place. I just didn't tried to stop them.

Aisha : That means your cover is blown up.

Rathod : It's obvious, they used truth serum on her...she must had revealed everything...

Saakshi : That means they are already alerted. & they'll try to be a step ahead of us.

Arjun : We don't have much time. Before these people wrap up everything, we should find out what Ruhi had collected...Kabir, you people keep backups for everything, right??

Kabir : Haan..but Ruhi ki backups...

Aisha : Definitely yahan nahi hogi...she must kept it somewhere safe. this place..it's Celina's home, not Ruhi's. Kabir, for how long you knew her?

Kabir : well..it's quite a long, Ashu. I knew her since I've started undercover missions. She's my only partner in this.

Aisha : Then try to remember anything usual or unusual about her. Any place, person, or thing around her.

Kabir : I can't...

Aisha : Try harder...anything that can give us a clue.

Rathod : Ok..Kabir, you can continue thinking in the SUV. Aisha, seal this place. Saakshi, stay with Aisha. Join us at office one you finish her.

Saakshi nodded. And boys expired from that place.

Shree was working on Varun's details. He's a spoilt rich guy, owner of an international shipping company. He spent money on his luxury . He's a big womanizer also. Shree looked into his financials and recent activities, he found this guy don't earn much from his shipping line, but still his account was rich enough. Shree looked into the sources and found that man had also invested into some adult sites, he earns a good money from it, he also found some unusual money transactions into his accounts. He decided to dig it deeper, when Arjun called him from the conference room.

Shree rushed and found all sitting inside excluding Chotu.

Arjun : Shree, keep an eye Tiwari, Nikhil and Shetty. I want every detail about them.

Shree : ok, sir.

Rathod : & what did you found about Mahapatra??

Shree : Sir yeh Mahapatra... yeh bohot interesting "Patra" nikla..

Kabir : Aing!! PATRA!!!

Shree : I mean cheez...(he narrated everything he found about this man).

Aisha : Ruhi pointed to him, matlab kuch toh hain...Shree show us his pic..

Shree showed them Varun's pic.

Aisha : Yeh Varun!! Yeh toh no 1 scoundrel hain...but out there he introduce himself as VM...not Mahapatra!!

Shree : Haan...at first I also faced problem with this surname. Out there he is known as VM.. ..So I ran a number of surname initials with M, then finally I found this facial match...

Arjun : Ok...so he runs his business under that name...

Shree : Sir, maybe he use this initials only in public...baaki sab business toh Mahapatra ki naam se hi hain...

Rathod : Aisha, how do you know him?

Aisha : He was a common face in raves...he used to bought goodie bags for his girlfriends...no 1 womanizer hain...many times I stopped myself from shooting him down...

Kabir : Koi baat nahi..iss baar tu ispe aaram se target practice karr lena...baas ek baar yeh haath lag jaye...

Aisha : Isme kaunsi bari baat hain...kisi na kisi nightclub main mil jayga...Shree..

Shree : I'll keep him under my grids.

Meanwhile Chotu entered, exhausted.

Arjun : Kya mila??

Chotu : Sir, blue Shadows is not a good place at all...I've saw a number of faces there. and they are not there coincidentally...I've assigned some of my men there. And the bartender..maybe he can help...

Rathod : Are you sure?

Chotu : He knows something...h saw a man had and verbal fight with Nikhil regarding Celina and I've asked him to come here to sit with our sketch artist. May be he can tell us something more.

Rathod : God job chotu...

But before Rathod could finish, Chotu saw Varun's pic and exclaimed.

Chotu : Yeh aadmi...yeh toh...

Kabir & Arjun : Yeh kya??

Chotu : Last night, Ruhi came out of the pub with this man...I saw in the parking lot footage, she was sitting in this man's car while he drove off!!

Rathod, Arjun and Kabir sprung up straight at the next second and rushed to the door with Rathod's 2 word, "Let's go."

All followed them, but Rathod stopped on his tracks.

Rathod : Not you guys...stay in the office and wait for instructions.(and walked away)

Rest of them just stared at their departure.

At Mahapatra's place.

Trio rushed inside his resident, pushing away the guards tried to stop them. Thy directly went inside Varun's bed room and found him coming out of his bathroom, wrapped in a towel.

Varun : arre!! Yeh kya battameezi hain?? Aise kisiki bedroom main...

Rathod : You are under arrest Mr. Varun. Put your cloths on and come with us.

Varun : Arrest me!! Why??

Arjun : For murdering and physically abusing Ruhi Batra...

Varun : I don't know ant Ruhi Batra...

Kabir : But you know Celina? Right? Yup met her day before yesterday night...you are the one who saw her last alive...

Varun : Haan, Celina, singer of Blue shadow na??...yup I dropped her at her place...around 2.30 may be... but I Didn't kill her...

Arjun : Don't lie, she was dead by 3.00. If you didn't then who?? Now move..

Varun moved to his closet to pick his cloths.

Varun : You can't arrest me officers.

Rathod : Of course we can, you are a suspect now...

Varun brought out a piece of paper and forward to Rathod.

Varun : I've already issued a bail...followed by an order from the court. If you don't have a solid proof against me, you can't even touch me. Sorry guys..but you have to leave this place without me.

Arjun and Kabir was about to thrash him, while Rathod spoke up.

Rathod : He's right guys..let's go. (To Varun) You better be careful...once we'll have the proof, nobody can save you from us.

Varun offered a crooked smile in answer.

After an hour of three ACPs departure. Shree was working in his station, when Aisha, Liza and Chotu came to disturb him with coffee.

Liza : Working huh!!

Shree : Dkh liza, I'm busy now, plz kisi aur ka dimaag kha...mujhe baksh de..

Aisha : Haan haan...we won't disturb you..we just came to give you coffee.

Chotu put the mug on the table. Shree smiled and extended his hand to take it, but Aisha took it away. Shree looked at her with questioning eyes.

Aisha : Jairaaz Anand...kuch yaad aaya?

Shree : Arre tum bhi...coffee do...batata hoon. (Aisha returned him the mug) Jairaaz Anand is the Chairman of Anand Inc. his mansion, Anandlok is at the other end of Mumbai, near the beach. His wife Saakshi Anand...

Liza & Chotu : What?? Saakshi!!

Shree : Let me finish first!! She died of cancer. They had 3 children, Vikram, Viraj and Vedika. Vikram has two children Samar and Saakshi. This Saakshi in our miss publicist. SYS??

Aisha : Such a big family...but why Saakshi lives alone when she can live in such luxurious mansion??

Shree : Ask her..

Chotu : Uski andar se kuch nahi niklega...aaj tak aapni family ke baare main kuch kaha usne? Nahi na...shree, now you are our only hope.

Shree : Well...Viraj and Vedika lives in US, they handle the Anand Inc. office there...& India office is handled by Sr. Anand. Saakshi's dad, Colonel Vikram Anand died three years back, remember that terrorist attack in Army press conference??

Liza : haan...3 high profile officers were died in that attack.

Shree : Haan wahi...

Liza : And Saakshi's mom?

Shree : She's no more too...but there's no details of that sorry.

Chotu : And brother?

Shree : Late Flight Lieutenant Samar Anand...died in action.

Aisha : But still, why doesn't she stay with her family?

Shree : Ask her, anyways where is she?

Liza : Reading case details.

Their conversation was interrupted by a heated male voice.

Rathod : What's going on here?? Huh!! (his gaze fell on monitor, which has the Anands' photographs) Oh!...office time main kaam chorke aapne hi teammate ki investigation karr rahe ho!?! Iss baat ka salary lete ho?? Agar yehi sab hi karna hain toh kalse koi office matt ana!! GOT THAT!! NOW REPORT IN CONFERENCE ROOM, GO!

All rushed, but Rathod stopped Shree.

Rathod : You stay here...from now on, I want to know every seconds movement of that Varun, and also find out about his last 96hrs...I want complete report till morning or else..

Rathod went away without finishing his line, but it was enough to make Shree blue out of fear. H sighed and stumped into his chair.

Shree : (to himself) Shree, tui morechis!!
