Urmi is seriously dumb

Well I really can't understand what the CVs are upto. It is not that they have shown Urmi is a weak woman. They have shown that Urmi has always stood up for the wrong. Urmi has walked out of the home and had decided to put her foot down and break this stupid marriage but where is that fiery Urmi now? Who is this dumb woman who only stares and gets shocked? Can't she see that her husband has not changed a bit ? Can't she says yes I spoke bad about you to my family coz that's what you are and that's what you did to me? Can't she say that no I am talking to my mother and it may be private so I won't put the phone on speaker? Pregnancy didn't steal her tongue right? How did all the fire she had shown got put off so easily? Can't she just see what Samrat is heading towards? He wants only a boy. If it is a girl, then Urmi and her daughter will be facing the wrath of Samrat to the extreme level. Still why won't a girl like Urmi who spoke so much at her maayeka not say "beti bhi ho sakti hai"...
The least I want right now is Urmi going around and crying and begging and apologising for thinking about an abortion and blaming herself. I had hoped to see a colder Urmi this time.

No doubt Urmi has turned out to be a great disappointment.

I had made a post once on how she roars outside the house with her bravado and is a dumb mute in front of SamRAT.

She should be shouting at all her in-laws and especially SamRAT for calling her names
and degrading her for wanting an abortion.

This was the time when she should have shown some guts and told them all what she really wanted to do and WHY.

Standing up and fighting for what is right seems to elude Urmi in that house.

I thought I would stop watching this show because of SamRAT and his unacceptable behaviour but honestly Urmi is the one that is actually making me sick to watch her and her dumb apathy.

I think even reading updates (I have stopped watching the STUPID show) is becoming unbearable. There is not a single logical character left in this entire show (the RAT plague has gotten to all of them). The Rat and Ms Mousie (Urmi) are no longer a lead couple but seem more like a Saas (Rat) and Bahu (Urmi) especially after the pregnancy. What's this nonsense about the Rat taking over Urmi's life ( khana, peena, who to talk to, etc) and the Beta hi hoga rant??? Isn't the Rat sounding like all the TV serial vamps atma combined in one??? I bet he will win the best vamp award this year. All he now needs is a decorated x'mas tree colored sari, loads of jewellery and a big round tikka and a name change to Saamp Rani Devi

I couldn't agree more with you all on this thread.
I only read the written updates or TRY to watch the episode recap (5-6min) clip online - even then I have to stop the video because it gets unbearable.

Today especially I am thoroughly disappointed and partly disgusted.

Now pardon me members if I am misinterpreting or misquoting as I did not watch the full episode.

What I can't understand is what the CVs are trying to show here. We spent a few days where Urmi was hell bent on never returning to Samrat - she wanted nothing to do with the monster she married - she had a lot of emotional baggage to sort through. Now all of a sudden post Baby Announcement Party - she's back in the mad house.

First of all why did she go to the party?
Did she go because she was guilt tripped by her beloved father (another terrible character) who would rather send his baby girl to the dogs (samrat's family) rather than stand up for her and support her during her emotional crisis?
Did she return because she has magically over night resolved her emotional issues and decided that she DOES want to live with this horrendous character?
For a woman who WAS concerned about her child's future which is precisely why she wanted the abortion suddenly a brainless mute who is subjecting her child to emotional trauma and tyranny even before he/she is born?!
Urmi knows very well that Samrat has no concern for her, her feelings or her well being. Everything is just a means to satisfy his ego and remain in control.

What was she thinking coming back to the mad house?
Even if I can justify that Urmi made an appearance at the party for the sake of societal norms (that logic alone is a soap box of mine but i'll reserve that for a different discussion) why did she go back to that mad house?
After the party - if she was so adamant that she did not want to go back to Samrat - she should have gone back to her parents house. That would have really bruised Samrat's ego. But more than proving a point to Samrat - I want to understand what is Urmi doing?

On the one hand she's all about self respect and a compatible life partner (neither of which describes Samrat) but then she behaves like a weak pushover and doormat - WHYYY?

If she is considering giving him another chance because he's been so "caring" recently then she's in for a rude awakening (again) and at this point I have no sympathy for her - she is digging her own grave.
I wonder how long it would take for her to wake up and realize - Samrat has NOT changed - he looks at her as a baby producing machine - a means to an heir - he's so confident in his "manhood" that he's convinced he will have a boy - PUH-LEEEZ - any one with some form of formal education can tell you sex determination of the fetus is a) not something that can be controlled unless you are going for surrogate motherhood or IVF b) it is upto the sperm which can carry either X or Y chromosome to determine the sex of the baby - if ur lucky it will be Y for a baby boy, BUT YOU CAN'T CONTROL THIS!
I'm just counting the days till Urmi is forced to undergo sex determination tests and then possibly coerced to abort if they find out it's a baby girl.

MAYBE Urmi was shown to keep quiet here - so she can give these words back to Samrat when he wants her to abort so they can try again for a boy.

In my opinion though - when he was yelling at her and raising hell at home yet again - this would have been the prime opportunity for Urmi to tell Samrat exactly what she thinks of him or thought of him - and say she DID want an abortion because she doesn't want to bring his child into this world - she doesn't want to be associated with such a terrible person who is selfish, arrogant and mean. He doesn't treat her well she is his wife not some kind of toy that he bought at the store that he can do what ever he wants with - if he wants her to have this baby he needs to treat her right.
But of course this is wishful thinking since we are watching a hindi serial which as always is at the mercy of cheap shots to gain TRPs. Newsflash to CVs - if you can weave a well thought out script that is engaging and doesn't insult the viewers' intelligence and sensibilities - you won't need to resort to stupid tricks to gain TRPS!

Well said, cvs are showing Urmi as weak and she is behaving as if everything has come back to normal in her life. In every juncture samrat is clearly telling her that she is just a source he is using to get his son , and only son, not even a girl, and in every dialogue he is so very clear of his opinions that what he wants, even what his child to be after he comes in to this world, he has already highlighted to everyone including Urmi that he rules his son not anyone else.
Samrat can even ask and bribe the doctor to get the child aborted out if he knows the child is girl, he won't even think twice to go risking Urmi life even if child and mother are in danger, and if the child is girl, he won't even bother, to think he will just ask do what the doc want to do, if both die, he would already planning for another marriage new woman, similar to Urmi, because he thinks he is a man, mein mard hoon . I can do whatever pleases me.

And here people are dreaming this rat will change. I seriously doubt what this Urmi is upto, if she can't do anything other than showing shocking face and crying, no one in the world will stand up for her.

Sometimes I feel what men say is true, they say what they want very clearly at most of the time, but women don't, they are such confused souls why?

Horrible today, I felt really bad, all good is only on this earth to suffer , nothing else

Aur log bhashan dete yahan pe ki abortion is crime and all, they should re watch the words the rat warning to Urmi. Today. Disgusting man.

No women likes such persons

@ Skar. I agree with all your points in your post.

Maybe Urmi is already affected by her raging hormones and she has started to see SamRAT through a fog or her raging hormones have replaced her brain cells with
"Cotton Candy".😆

Sorry if I don't see this dumbness through some humour even my BP is going to blow my sanity to smithereens.😆
