I despised your angry demeanour
The first time I saw you
The anger in your eyes
Frightened me...
You killed my happiness that day
But I didn't know you then
My friend

The day I nearly died
I understood your intentions
To protect me
From the evil hiding in the shadows
You were always there for me
Never fearing for own fate
For my safety
My friend

Destiny has bought you to me
I hope that soon you'll see
I want to be a part of you
Like you are to me
I'll care for you
Love you
Carry you
We understand each other's pain
We are the same
