Friends, I do not deserve such praise. I am not doing anything extraordinary. Actually, I had shut up myself in a cocoon after my hearing problem started. My social interaction was minimum that is essential to live in the society. Even in office, I talk to very few people in general - most of the interactions are for official purposes only. So, teaching gave me some satisfaction that I can still do something for the society (and children are much more accommodating than grown-ups and do not show displeasure if they have to repeat again because I could not understand what they were saying). My son always says that I should interact more with people - but some bad experiences hold me back. This maid coming to me and sharing her problems gave me an opportunity to think differently. And learning is two ways process here. While I am trying to teach her what is called "kitabi gyan" she is giving me "jeevan gyan" without even intending to do so. She has given me a different line of thinking, and similar is the case with forum members. Reading different views enriches my thinking and make me review my views on different topics. Thanks again.
