As today is the festival of Holi, what are your best unforgettable Holi memories you can share with us?
Well, that would be when I was very young, like second-third standard. Playing holi with my sister, cousins, family and close friends. Those days were just great fun! We would always have an awesome time! Even today, I just celebrated Holi with my family at home. We put some gulaal on each other and that's it. As we prefer to now avoid all the heavy chemical colors and lots of water wastage of course.
If you were one word, what would it be?
I can call myself Artistic' for sure. Other than that, there is no word to describe this one, but I love to Love' people!
What is the biggest misconception people have about you?
That I somehow never ever eat junk food! (Laughs). I actually do, but make it a point to balance it pretty well with all my working out later.
If you could eat anything and never put on weight, what would you live on?
Aaahh, that would be Chocolate pastries! I just love them.
What is your fitness mantra?
I make it a point to be very regular with my exercising, working out and dance of course. I don't believe in just working out well for one day and then back to square one. No not at all, I believe in any form of exercise everyday. I also believe in eating healthy completely, besides a few cheat day's of course, where I indulge in all my favourite foods. I always follow the concept of working out more than I the calorie intake, to burn it all off.
Some fitness tips you can share with your fans?
Yes of course. So drinking a lot of water is very good for the body. Always keeps it hydrated which is very important. Plus it makes you look good and feel good too.I suggest green tea too, as an everyday drink, as it really does detoxify the body. Also, for those who are working out to loose weight, make it a point to never eat carbs after a workout, stick to proteins as that is healthy, and helps in losing weight too. Other than that, make it a point to exercise everyday for even half an hour if possible. Also, keep a positive attitude in life, and that helps the most. Coming to dance, that is the best form of workout for everyone in general, as it gets you all alive, and music is always refreshing for one and all.
What are you most scared of?
Being away from my family! As they mean everything to me.
The last time you laughed really hard?
I laugh too often. With my friends, family, SKI students. They all always give me opportunities to laugh. And of course Kapil too, on Comedy Nights with Kapil!
The last time you had tears in your eyes?
Those were tears of joy, when my niece was born a month ago.
One embarrassing moment that you will never forget?
So I was sitting at Mc Donalds a week ago, with my SKI team and saw this guy sitting on the opposite table who looked exactly like my cousin. And I was very confident that he was my cousin and so walked upto him, and was just about to pat him on the shoulder when he turned around and looked very confused. He wasn't my cousin, and was wondering why I went up to him! (Laughs). I then just walked back to my table. That was embarrassing for sure. (Laughs).
Finally,one question you wish the media would stop asking?
(Laughs). Well, honestly I am not really in touch with the media now. So nobody is asking me any unnecessary questions!
