Ok...that I am ready to do and even understand. As these discussions are about daily episodes, this is more about her reactions today, which felt out of sync from one frame to another. And I am talking about her and Rudra's comparisons with Shiva Parvati and also her running wildly towards him, both these occasions were felt inconsistent with her character and the flow of the show.

Best explanation ever! That is exactly what I think the CVs were going for in her characterization. I just love, love her honesty. I too think that she is right now single mindedly focussing on making things right with Rudra and bapu sa. Not sure why everyone is worried about her getting attached so soon. She's not - the CVs have not shown any half way romantic scene between them after the non wedding. I'm sure the attraction is there but simmering on the back burner.

And this is also precisely my point. She is definitely not in love, then why such jarring and leading actions.

Well, different strokes for different folks I guess. :-) I definitely did not think the comparison was inconsistent at all and as for the running, I'm waiting for tomorrow.

That she is projecting something without intending to and without a clue of how it will be perceived. That makes her seem limited and nave - does it not?

If you love bth the character...then only u can relate to them and understand better their unsaid Divine and pure relationship.. As far as i see she was running to him not throwing herself into his arms.. But accidently her ankle twist and she fall and Rudra catch her.. Thats the scene.. Nothing more nothing less...

I think Paro is not in love with Rudra yet. She is more about giving back to Rudra what he gave her. Mainly support during her bad times. Standing by him. She can see that he is broken and her full focus is to support him.
Soon she will focus on clearing her name in the future. But right now its not about that.
Also I think these 2 are connected so deeply at an unconscious level that I don't think they think of each other in terms of a romantic link... I am not sure I am able to convey what I want to say properly...

Paro Bai Sa...so you have and are going all out to win his trust back. You want to be back, where you belong. And are determined to be back in his life, his family, his home...but have you really thought this out to the end?? Why..why do you want to be a part of his existence?? Why are you hovering around him?? Why are you just not ready to let go of him??

You want his forgivance, his acceptance!! Why?? So tomorrow if he forgives you, and accepts you, you plan to stay with him forever in this role?? Are you really thinking this through?? What exactly is he to you, your body guard..your rakshak forever?? Forever..hamesha?? What do you make him...when you compare him to Shiv and yourself to Parvati?? How can you mentally compare your situation and relationship between that of a husband and wife?? How can your equation and example be that of Rudra and Uma...the eternal Shiv Shakti ...the two parts of this universe?? What status have you given the man, and what do you think will happen if he accepts you?? You plan to stay with him forever...in what role?? Do you seriously think he is your fated one, your husband, your love??And what makes you think, he too has undergone a drastic and sudden change of heart like you, that he will happily accept you permanently in his life?
It takes but a night to change so drastically and desperately?? And what was all that running up to him at the temple??
Seriously at a loss to understand, where is Paro taking this?? Has she accepted this man as her meant partner in a day?? Has Paro even paused to consider the relevance of her thoughts and the consequences of her actions?? Can she even think beyond...Rudra??
I know my writing today is not even satisfactory but am seriously at a loss to understand Paro's emotions and feelings regarding Rudra. Her single minded determination to be part of Rudra's life and family...has me in a turmoil. It seems to be a case of too much too fast!!

Every word you've written resonated with me. I was about to write something along these lines when I saw your post! I have the same questions- though Varun might have married her falsely, to Paro it was a real marriage. How did she come to terms with the betrayal so quickly? How do you hate a person enough to promise to jump into the fire one day and run to hug him the next even if you get to know he is nicer than you thought ?
I am more than pissed! Though this is only the second serial/soap I am watching, the trend seems to be to leave the female lead's feelings unresolved. A screen play of real life? Women are being subconsciously trained to "just bite the bullet, keep calm and thank the Lord for small mercies & move on. Don't add to the angst. Your emotional resolution is not worth the screen time whereas the male lead's continual anguish about his mother is" I guess.
Don't get me wrong I loved the mothering, the support, the being there etc but to me Paro's response was too much too soon. There was no doubt, no hesitation on her part. Does she think the world is so starkly black & white ?
For what is worth I'm with you on this Eveline!

BaiSa...and continue to do so even after years. And this is not about love. Cause I don't think she is in love yet, or even knows what love means at this stage. This for her is all about asking for his forgiveness and acceptance. At least it was till yesterday's episode...and today...its about the silly things we do in love??If it is about love, according to you, then when did she fall in love...before or after the cup of tea or lunch??

There has to be some continuity, some flow ina story. It demands gradual logical progression. You cant have a girl struggling for acceptance and forgiveness and trying to prove her innocence in the morning from a man she respects as her guardian and in an hour you cant show her thinking of herself and the very same man as hubby and wife. And running crazily to him. I don't mind her doing so Bai Sa...but where is the smooth flow. Where have the dots been connected ?? Love is not instant, or now is it??

What I am trying to say Is paro had not yet realized that she is in love with rudra .. She's doing crazy things as her heart is wanting too ..mind has not started processing these flip flop reactions ..she feels she is free from societal norms as a widow as a wife ..just a young heart .

I felt the same way as you, seeing the past few episodes. I then realized that I was not looking at her character in entirety. Paro comes from a rather small world, with a bare minimum education and no exposure beyond her village. In her limited knowledge of the world she needed a protector and that was in the form of her Thakursa. She then adjusted this view to include her husband only to lose him immediately after having accepted him. She clung to her view of her Thakursa because that is all she knew. She has just had that taken away from her too. She was briefly cast adrift and she needed and anchor of sorts. Rudra having been redeemed in her eyes naturally filled into this void that she felt. Anyway this is just my reasoning. Sorry if I am inarticulate. I am rather tired at the moment. Read your post and felt like replying.
