Seriously usually im a silent viewer of the forum but today I just had to make a post.

I am seriously on the verge of quitting this show

Before I use to like it due to its realistic approach about how they handle relationships and situation etc etc

But GD has now become a ongoing cycle :

One episode : Nikhil is frustrated due to his conflicted emotions "and is as confused as ever " (in his words)

Second episode: We get full on romance with Ishana ...(Yuk...at this point I change the channel) all his confusion is frgotten

Third Episode: Nikhil is once again mad at everyone for giving him what he wants ( He thinks??)

Fourth Episode: All forgotten HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN !!!! with the family and romance with his Ishu ( Who is Lajjo at this point in Nikhils life???)

I swear the only conclusion i can come with this is the CVs wants us to presume that Nikhil is bi-polar and requires treatment.

Uff if tomorrow their is no movement from Nikhils side and more lovey dovey romance with Ishana.

I QUIT THIS SHOW

Welcome to the forum.

You are right we all are too upset with Nikhli - Ishana and confused Nikhil, but have patience as CVs are trying to cover everything so the show is going in slow motion, it will become good soon, Ishana will go to England alone and Nikhil - Lajjo will be together.

welcome dear..we understand ur feelings as we r in same boat, but before u quit the show I can tell u even now, he will definitely have romance tomorrow with ishaana😆 after that phone convo with Laajo.HE will feel if she is happy why cant I be 😆 but I think by Monday engagement will be postponed and by end of next week fully cancelled with Nikhil realizing his love for Laajo. so dheere dheere aage badhenge...but today I agree Nikhil looks like he is bipolar but he is fighting a loosing battle...

So right you are. It is going round and round. I have to defend the CVs though, for the simple reason that they are trying to allow you to read the emotions behind every act ,scene and dialogue. Here they are not stating in black or white the emotions the lead feels . They perhaps want you to accept and figure out again and again Nikhils confused mind, esp since his brains is taking a roller coaster ride.

As for the cycling --- that's the way with most daily serial 😉. Some one has been finding her father for years. Another can't make up his mind of who is important-- his wife or his girlfriend with the rich daddy for the last 6 months.Then we have another who has been wallowing in self pity about his past girlfriend and thus abuses his childlike wife again an again as the story goes on in a never ending manner. I can go on and on , like Nikhil is going on and on with his ,"I miss her and I miss her not" 😆

Must also say that I do see al these serials in an off and on manner, as they do keep me entertained . Accept for GD. Which I am glued to as I find the males characterization absolutely interesting.

Nice to see you here, let's have more entertaining discussive topics from you!

For me Nikhil's reaction is very realistic.In fact I like the fact that nikhil is trying to stay the he was with Ishaana all these years...hanging out with her, romancing her.It just that now its become an effort on his part as he is not in love with her any more. But he doesn't know that yet so he is trying to do what is logical, what is expected. Thats what he is doing for so many years & now he is almost making it official. He doesn't understand why is it so hard now, why he is so distracted, why does he keep thinking about Laajo when he is sure he doesn't have any feelings for her other than compassion?

I don't see his getting upset with Laajo moving on as his hurt ego. I think he is missing her badly & he is upset at the fact that both of them are supposed to move on. He is upset that Laajo is away & sees her studying as sign of her being cut off from his life.

I am loving the way the cvs are handling the situation. Even Ishaana & Nikhil spending time together goes with the story at present. Ishaana is his fiance'.They have shown the change in Nikhil just through his expressions & his minor actions.

Just like Gunja said today his apparent hate or anger for Laajo is not really that. Its him trying to cover his subconscious feeling.

Have some patience buddy tommorrow he will move on ....and i bet once he starts moving he will go in rocket speed and directly land in sonbarsa...😆..Till now two lines from my side"Abhi na jao chod ke ki story mein twist abhi huya nahi"😳

I agree with your thoughts of the slow pace of the sequences.. But its better for us to understand wat he is going thru and y...

He is upset coz Laajo moved on witjhout telling him.. even thou he asked her to study himself during her illness.. he felt she wud tell him that she is going start her studies and i guess he wanted them to move on together... kinda like a bond..

But here he comes to knw that she loved him.. then the next thing he starts missing her and then BOOM uncle comes and tells him she moved on and she is happy studying.. Nikhil gets annoyed at that instance.. till then it was just missing her and her presence ...

He was surprised how she can move on wen she loved him.. how she left him for his betterment?

U r rite he is following wat he shud do in the case of getting engaged to Ishana and b happy for himself... he is now mechanically only doing wat he shud do and not wat he wants to do..

I assume he needs time.. this forcing of Ishana on him is not wrkg in her favour., he is clearly getting annoyed ...

He needs peace now and i feel he gets the required peace wen he thinks about Laajo and then he realises and gets annoyed..

I just loved Nikhil's outburst... his childish statement about wat she thinks about herself... i am expecting a nik-ish episode today after his convo with laajo just like a revenge to show he ias moved on too...

But it will take an ugly turn ..

Welcome, and used to post everything you think.

I think that N is fighting with his own feelings, and he is all mad because she moves on, remember that he already know about L's feelings and he was expecting to see or to know that she is in pain or something, so he is angry because if she loves him so much, why she is moving on?? He does not understand that. Now, Ishu relation is about to end, soon or later N must see the real Ishu and will call off the wedding. It's about time, but some very good twist is coming soon.

Welcome to the forum. Well it is true that the track is getting a bit frustrating due to Nikhils confusion and his denial but I think it is far better than some melodramatic Saas bahu serials with endless scheming and gaudy makeup . To be honest , I never watch any other show as I feel all are same( no offence is intended) ,but G.D is different it focuses on human psyche and emotions, It also highlights the problems women face in our society. It also speaks about those rural women folk whom we city people take for granted, but they are more enduring and have to face a lot to make change happen in their lives. Having given you a lecture( which I am sorry about) 😳, I too hate Nikhil - Ishana romance scenes , but they may be necessary to make us aware how Nikhil feels about things and what he perceives . All said and done, one thing is for sure " Intezaar ka phal meeta hota hain".😆
