She was walking towards his father and his heart was about to stop. He could not imagine about what next. He was numbed and could not move from his place. His father could not see him because he stood in lobby but he could see them.

"Good morning sir, myself Aastha..." she greeted his Father NA who looked her in confused way

"Yes..." he asked in confuse way as he didn't know her.

"Sir I am working as an assistant with Shlok sir and I came here to take some files. He called me last evening for those" she made an excuse on the spot. Shlok could not listen their conversation due to distance but he could guess that she didn't tell anything about their rift. He sighed and relieved. She came towards him and smirked

"Wipe sweat from your forehead, this time I wanted to just warn you but be aware next time. Just remember one thing I am not a typical girl..." she pointed her finger towards him and warned. She smiled and left him fumed.

"You didn't do well this. Now I will show you that who am I ..." He cunningly smiled.

"You know one thing... " Nimay said to her when she looked him in confuse look

"My morning never so beautiful before today" he said cheesy way with all his as usual charm while Aastha mocked him

"What was special in today morning?" she asked in light way as she knew that he was just joking.

"Today a beautiful girl met me at my doorstep when I was going for my jog." He cupped his face with his one hand and put his head back on the chair and said in lost way.

Aastha nickered on his style and told him jokingly "now you will tell that her name is start from A" she mocked him when he smiled and asked childishly

"How do you know this?" he asked innocently when Aastha laughed and chided him

"Be serious and let do some work" she said when they both laughed loudly

Shlok who was passing from there was surprised to see them laughing in friendly manner. He clinched his fist in anger as his idea backfired on him. He thought that if he assigned Aastha with nimay then she will be irritate soon with Nimay flirty nature and give him a piece of mind but here entire scene seemed change

"How can they become like buddies?" he thought in anger.

He was walking here and there in his cabin in anger. His mind was burning after he saw them laughing and chatting together.

"What she told that she hates man ... Hunhhh..." he jerked his head in fumed way.

"How easily she impressed to Nimay ..."He set on the chair and put his head on the back of chair and thought. He called Aastha in his cabin.

After some moments, she came and knocked the door.

"May I come in sir?" she asked in her as usual way. He saw her straight face for a second and burnt inside.

"Look at her who can say now that she was laughing before some moments" he thought for a second and said her purposely

"Where is your attention now a days?" he grinned but composed a calm tone.

"What happen?" she asked in firm tone. He threw the file on the table and said

"Do you know, how many mistake you made in this file..." he grinned with burning eyes he could not see her calm like this and that too with Nimay. She took the file from the table and read that.

"I think sir you are not in your senses because this is not my work. You should check before saying me irresponsible" she satirically said him when he looked him with killer instant.

"Look from now you will only assign with me... I cannot bear any carelessness in my work so only you will see all the work from now." He ordered her in very casual way. She frowned her shoulder. He noticed her each reaction but he had failed to find any strange reaction.

"How can she compose herself so easily... she shows if she doesn't bother anything? Ohhh these girls... poor Nimay..." he thought and smiled strain.

"Sir may I leave now" she asked in bored tone, Shlok gave him a cold look and nodded his head

She left his cabin hurriedly.

"Hey bro, what is this yaar? this is not fair that you retained Aastha to my work?" Nimay asked in furious and surprised tone.

" yes I assigned her with you now I want her concentration in my work only so you should not bother this, she is my assistant not yours?" he answered calmly when Nimay tried to say something

"But..." Shlok interrupted him

"What but, did she say something so that you are so concern about this matter" he sarcastically asked when Nimay perplexed on his words

"I just asked, she doesn't say anything to me... she is a nice girl" he said while Shlok clinched his jaw

"Ok I have to do lots of work so get lost" he firmed

Shlok was passing when he saw Nimay chatting with Aastha. They were looking very friendly. After seeing this, he had burnt from head to toe.

"What the hell is happening here in working hours?" he walked to them like arrow and asked in fumed tone

"Nothing bro, she was just telling me about her family... she has very nice and simple family." Nimay replied when Shlok gave a look

"Her half blood family... I know how much nice is that..." Shlok made a face when Nimay became faded to hear his words. He understood what he wanted to say while Aastha gave him a strain look

"What do you mean of Half blood? They are my family and you don't have any right to say anything about them" she gave him a better mind piece.

"I know very well the meaning of half blood..." he gave a look to Nimay and pointed his finger to her "and I think you need a reality check about your lost world... I know the truth behind the bitter relations... they can just use you for their purpose... look at yourself you are sole earner in your family so that they tolerate your bitter and sweet nature because they need you Ms Aastha kirloskar... just think about it" he complete his talk and left while they both remained mum...
