Thakursa offers Paro much wanted freedom from captivity. She rejects Rudra's offer, places faith in Thakur yet the words she utters are not in sync with the tumultuous emotions she feels. She has seen this jhallad at his vulnerable low, knows that he is not what he portrays. The dormant concern for him instinctively comes to the forefront when she sees the gun aimed at him. The scales however are tipped heavily on the side of father figure like Thakursa as she musters strength to land the ultimate blow to Rudra
Rudra rushes back to Paro when he comes to know that the guns were just a diversion. He sees his arch nemesis in front of him yet his first concern is for Paro, he refuses to proceed with the conversation unless she is firmly by his side. He implores, reiterates that her life is in danger but Paro blindsided by implicit faith in Thakur is too stunned even to move. The blow hurt him most emotionally - betrayal and disbelief screaming from his eyes.
The dimag did triumph but not without leaving us with an image of a tearful, regretful and dazed Paro looking at a shocked, stunned Rudra as he slowly crumbles on the ground. Both were right yet so wrong. Thakur turned out to be the ultimate shatir dimag of all.
Tightly knit and well done episode.⭐️ The loud chanting of Om Shivoham and Sati/Parvati reference even though obvious felt very right. Both Sanaya and Ashish nailed a multitude of expressions today.👏
