Yes, he does. He might ignore the fact that she was married before and has a child. But all his love will not stop him from hurting her son who has grown into his greatest enemy.

complex character results in finer story

I agree that complex characters result in finer and a more real story as human beings r not jut good or bad but it is also true that this is an Indian tv serial and they r actually afraid to venture on unexplored grounds. I wouldn't be surprised that in the coming episodes Raja sa would hurt Mala for his love for the good name of his family. That would make him truly black and then everyone can hate him😆. Though it would be difficult with those dimples still intact. 😳

Though his character might take a 180 degree turn and his love for mala overcomes his short comings. He does not seem to be concerned abt money. He just seems to be bitter abt the fact that his lands were taken and was stripped of the title of Raja. This shows that he is an emotional man and not materialistic. This trait can turn him into a positive character who repents later on. I think the Cvs have deliberately left this option open so that they can turn this story as they want in future.

Yes, he loves her. I've known this since the first or second week of the show. He loves her and this is why he accepted her despite knowing that she's a mother. However, his power and pride is far more important than her and he will do anything to keep them.

Can't really tell what is between them.

She trusts him, respects him.

He loves her, knows about her past life, doesn't want to hurt her, but keeps her in the dark about his shannanigans and wants to kill the one she is longing for.
