If Rudra finds the proof against Tejawat in the Mela, he doesn't need to marry Paro at all. What is he marrying Paro for? Very frankly, not because he feels something for her (as I said if he did even subconsciously, he would not put her in danger by taking her to the Mela) but to save his uniform, his job. If that is taken care of, he doesn't need to marry her.

On Paro's side, what is she marrying Rudra for? Because she has to give in to his blackmail. And she's standing up for her people. If her people come to save her during the Mela, why would she marry him? (No doubt the Thakur would put up a pretence saying that he was constrained to not recognize her that day as lives of all villagers were at stake, and she would have no reason to doubt him)

If Parvati does come to know the truth during the Mela, even then what is the need for her to marry Rudra? She can help him, yes. But marry? Will her feelings change for the extreme hate for Rudra to love like instant noodles? At the most, she would develop some compassion for him, but love? Not as yet.

Tejawat knows that the marriage will be held at the fair, so in turn will also know that Rudra will be there, he can take the necessary precautions. It is Rudra who doesn't know the full picture and that Tejawat has an informer in Mohini.

If the marriage indeed does happen, it will happen only in hate and only if Rudra does not get proof, but what progress has Rudra made? He still doesn't have the proof against Tejawat, because Parvati seriously doesn't know anything. He'll still be shunted out of his uniform.

I don't know if anyone will ever like it, or whether the CVs would actually even think it out in this way, but this is my take:

Rudra tries to convince Parvati but she goes away with Tejawat. She would, because other than saying it ten times a day, there is no other solid proof that Rudra has given her till now. To top it all, she has seen that Rudra has a scheming family - Mohinichachi who has blackmailed and hurt her in many ways, even Dilsher, in fact, has shown empty sympathies and has sided with his son asking him to marry her just because she makes good rotis. Her feelings have been conveniently forgotten by everyone in Rudra's family, not just Rudra. On the other hand, Thakursa has come to "rescue" her during Mahashivratri. He may want to kill her afterwards but if Thakurain sees her and is happy, he has no choice but to keep her alive. And it is only when Paro returns to her people does she chance upon the "proof" that she needs. Maybe the guns in the Thakur's haveli, or the other whispering dissent among people. On a logical note, Nandini's return seems too far-fetched to me, mainly because of the border issue (but then the CVs can take it the magic way 😉)

Rudra, on the other hand, is court-martialled or perhaps given some more time to prove himself. I would be rather cruel and go the court-martial route mainly because this is the way he'd understand Paro's pain - how it feels to be condemned guilty when one is innocent. Yes. I agree he is patriotic enough, saved his country, saved her from ruin, etc. etc. but he also pronounced her guilty when she wasn't, she cried out her innocence, he didn't believe and now Providence shall play the same rule on him. He'll be innocent, but nobody listens to him. It is then that he'll truly understand Parvati's pain - the pain of losing her dreams, her happiness, her freedom and her existence. For that is what his uniform means to him.
He has, of course, been condemned innocently before, when his mother left him but instead of learning the compassion that was denied him, he has committed the same mistake on another innocent. Even the Gods don"t approve of pain inflicted on an innocent. So this is the time he truly redeems.
So thus starts the learning process for both, Paro learns his truth and Rudra hers. And, of course at a later date, they meet - maybe through Thaukurain, maybe through Aman (GH hasn't made him visible here without a reason, isn't it? 😉)

This shall also give credence to the "intense love story" or the Othello type story that they promised. But yes, there is the big IF - if this would bring in the TRPs, if people would indeed like to see the leads separated. All this depends on the big question: do we watch a show for a story, or for just some steamy hot scenes?

Maafi, I have started thinking too logically for my own good 😆

Hi ishita..I have seen your and babyji's discussion has been going on for too long and its good that my thread is getting some exposure and good logical points here😆..You have strong points and I can see clearly that this may happen. Paro will be kidnapped but not be killed or harmed seeing that Thakurain will see her.

My point here is I know Rudra had his part of mistake by not thinking that Paro can be innocent but we also have to remember that Rudra was told by his general Singh that Birpur people are a tribe group who believe blindly in Tejawat. Rudra must have thought that Paro n the entire people being half illiterates are only following Tejawat as he is a GOD to them. So he must have thought that the girls of Birpur agree to get married in return of arms being sold. Since they being illiterates they don't see the harm that happens as a result to the country or anyone else. A village who is so blindly in faith to Tejawat could have actually supported him, provided they don't know the actual truth about the girls who are sold across the border.

As far as Paro is concerned she has definitely not got any proof but should also understand the logic behind Rudra's words and the way he is trying to protect her. She should question herself that why on earth none of the girls get married to any guy of birpur or nearby villages but only to cross-border villages and they never come back in any festivals. She should start using her brains. Its high time.

And as far as Rudra's court Martial is concerned that should not happen. Whatever Paro has gone through is hard to believe but that has been for the better. At least she will realize this. Its better to be a widow than to become a prostitute by force.
But for Rudra he has suffered to much humiliation from the society, so much that the only thing that protects him is his uniform, to which he clings to. That taken off will be an injustice to the story.

I think the marriage will happen but before tejawat is found or has found park and then paro will be taken away...so I think a separation after marriage...
Then they have a connection and are away from each other and paro comes to know the truth...
