Scene: Street
A man who appears to be drugged comes out of Dadar railway station, walks staggeringly through the streets and falls dead on the main road. A passerby checks his shirt and finds red marks on his shirt. He opens the shirt and finds 'CID' written on the dead man's chest with red paint He calls CID team.
Abhijeet, Daya, Nikhil and Pankaj arrive and check the body. Daya says that the murderer was challenging CID by writing CID on the dead man's body. Nikhil finds no injuries on the body. Daya finds something on the dead man's nails.
Scene: Lab
Salunkhe, Tarika and the new guy(forgot his name) check the body. Tarika finds dark colour in the nails and rashes on the face. They perform autopsy on the body. Suddenly all the lights in the lab start blinking and the 3 forensic doctors panic. Salunkhe asks Tarika to bring an antidote (couldn't get the name) Salunkhe starts injecting Tarika with it. At that time ACP, Sachin, Freddie and Purvi walk in. Sakunkhe shouts to them to go out. CID team goes out and waits. Salunkhe comes out after some time and says that the dead man's body has a dangerous virus which could killl anyone who went near the body and the whole lab has to be quarantined. (Idea borrowed from 571E1115?)
Salunkhe says that the nails of dead man had traces of a chemical used in industrial laundries.
Scene: CID Innova
Abhijeet, Daya and Nikhil check look for industrial laundries near the area where the dead guy was found. Finally they reach one laundry where the employees recognise the dead man's photo. They say that the dead man was Ajay and he was a very hot tempered man. One guy narrates how Ajay had almost strangled him when he had tried to have a look at Ajay's locket.
One guy says that Ajay used to go to Andheri east every Friday and once even mentioned that 'he would be late but it will be good if the appointment is not cancelled'. Abhijeet asks the man where in Andheri east Ajay used to get dropped off. The man says 'Tele gali'. ( couldn't get the name properly)
Scene: Bureau
Salunkhe walks in and expresses frustration that he's unable to find details about the virus.
At that time some media persons barge in. One person says that there is a parcel for ACP. ACP takes it and asks the media people to wait outside as it could even contain a bomb.
CID team checks it with bomb detectors and finding it safe they open the parcel. They find a tablet inside it. On starting it they find a video of a villain(face invisible) . He says that he has imprisoned 6 people each of whom he would soon inject with the virus and release every hour and cause mass destruction in Mumbai. To stop this CID team would have to find 6 clues hidden all over Mumbai. They would get 1 hour to find the each clue. If they found the clue the imprisioned man would be released without the virus injection. If they failed to find the clue the man would be released after being injected with the virus. The villain gives the first clue - 313 MCMXI PIGEONS.
Abhijeet writes the clue on a white board and after some analysis CID team guess that the clue refers to Gateway of India which was built in 1911. (MCMXI) ACP asks Abhijeet, Daya and Nikhil to rush there as they have just about an hour to find the next clue.
Scene: Gateway of India.
Abhijeet, Daya and Nikhil search the area around Gateway of India and just before the 1 hour mark they find a blind man with a smiley stuck to the back of his shirt and guess that this is the next clue. 😕 The blind man says that someone had patted his back sometime back and he might have stuck the sticker to his back.
There is 2654 mentioned at the back of the sticker. Nikhil whets this code into the tablet and the video shows the first man being released without being injected with the virus. CID team is relieved.
The next clue is written on the paper 'aisi muskurahat 😊 jo sone ki pahadi par milti hai'. CID team ask the blind man if he had noticed anything about the man. He says that the man who had patted his back had a weird ringtone like a devil laughing. Exactly then they hear a similar ringtone and see a hooded man standing across the road. CID team runs towards the man, but he dodges them and vanishes.
Scene: Lab
Salunkhe finds that Ajay's face had another layer of skin under the outer layer, such meant that he had done plastic surgery to his face at some point in time. Purvi suggests that they might be able to get a clue from Andheri because Ajay's colleague had told them that Ajay had some kind of an appointment in Andheri every Friday.
Scene: Street near Gateway of India.
Abhijeet, Daya and Nikhil search the area but fail to find the hooded man. The guy suddenly calls them on the tablet and tells them not to act smart with him. CID team look at the paper, analyse it and reach the conclusion that the second clue lies in Marine Drive. They rush to Marine drive.
Scene: Plastic surgeon's clinic
Sachin, Freddie and Purvi learn that Ajay is none other than their old informer Bhiku who was presumed dead. CID team guesses that Bhiku might have changed his appearance due to threat to his life. Sachin asks Freddie to pull out the records of all the criminals about whom Bhiku had given CID team information.
Scene: Marine drive
After some searching Abhijeet finds a car to which a smiley sticker is stuck. There's a message on the steering wheel asking CID team to proceed. Daya starts driving. The navigator automatically gives instructions on where to drive.
After sometime it says that they have reached the destination. Abhijeet finds a smiley on a bench on the footpath but when they try to open the car they find the doors of the car locked. The villain on the tab makes a sarcastic comment and vanishes. Daya breaks open the window in desperation as they barely have 2 minutes to enter the second code and rescue the second prisoner from the virus injection.
Nikhil finds the code 9825 written on a piece of paper stuck under the bench. He enters it into the tablet and the second guy is rescued.
The next clue is written on the paper as 'safed jhaadi ka vyapar'.
CID team guesses that this clue means cotton exchange which is close to Marine drive. The 3 of them rush towards the cotton market.
Scene: Cotton market
Abhijeet, Daya and Nikhil search the entire cotton market but fail to find the clue. (There's one shot of Abhijeet running dangerously in front of a bus. 😵 )
They realise that the villain was not referring to this market but another one. They decide to go to the other cotton market which is 10 minutes away from their present location and there's only 15 minutes left to find the next clue.
Scene: Kalbadevi Market
CID team searches the entire market and finally Nikhil finds the paper containing the code. Just as he's about to enter the code a passerby walks past him, knocking the tab down. By the time Nikhil enters the code it is 3 seconds past one hour and the tab gives the message that they are late by 3 seconds. The villain talks to CID team telling them that they have failed in their mission and shows the next prisoner being injected with the virus.
Abhijeet phones and tells ACP that they had failed in saving the guy and that he had to be caught before the infection is spread to others.
CID team rushes to the reception of the hotel on whose door they had found the clue and ask the receptionist who had pasted the smiley on their entrance. The receptionist says that he doesn't know. Nikhil expresses regret that the delay in entering the code was because of him.
Abhijeet says there is no time to brood over this and checks the next clue. It is 'sone ke sikke jo hai khaas, sukke patto par itihas...nakshon ka dher jahan mile kaala ghoda aur do sher'. CID team guesses that this could refer to Asiatic Library and rush to that place.
Scene: Road
ACP, Sachin, Freddie and Purvi are out searching for the virus- injected man.
At another place 3 men are standing near their broken- down tempo in a deserted road when they see an infected man walking towards them.
