Why study? When nobody in Bollywood has a degree?

So I currently have a horrible headache. Studied this entire week 16 hours every day. My head yesterday felt like it would explode. I didn't sleep yesterday (friday night) and stayed awake to make an exam...yes on saturday morning

Now ofcourse I should just go to bed...but I missed all my daily soaps and serials so I have to catch up on them. I also checked some websites and just came across pinkvilla...where I saw this post:

and suddenly I became pissed...like seriously! IT'S ALL SO UNFAIR! People without degrees make so much money 🤢.

Alia Bhatt who became 21 today and has zero credentials is being lauded today. Soon she will be basking in her own crores.

It just sucks 🤢

Sometimes I really wonder whether I should just drop out and move to India and seduce Mahesh Bhatt and make him present me a movie.

Why is that unfair? I have a degree and am doing a masters but I don't expect to earn much. I'm studying because I want to spend my life in a career I love as opposed to being stuck in a 9-5 office, or retail job, not to make millions.

It would be extremely unfair if someone who does not have a degree, but possesses the intelligence to excel in their field did not make a lot of money just because they don't have the paper to validate their intelligence. In the same vein it would be equally unfair if someone who did have a degree but had no talent for their field made millions just because they have a degree.

Richard Branson, Carl Linder, Alan Sugar - don't have a degree it would be pretty silly to suggest they don't deserve to be in the positions they are in today just because they dropped out of high school.

If we started measuring intelligence solely by a piece of paper we would be in a lot of trouble.

I can agree actors/singers/sportsmen get paid far too much in relation to the jobs they do and that is frustrating. But I disagree with the idea that anyone without a degree should not earn more than those who do possess one.

Sana you have to drop out. You are 25 and still in college.

Even Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates dropped out of collage. A piece of paper doesn't always determine how much you will earn in life.
