Yes Gopi is wrong in hiding her pregnencey... I accept but after Meera's accident if Gopi said about her pregnency they will surely be happy. But after Gopi gave birth to Vidya they may not allowed her to take care of her child saying that she is careless and not responsible Mother etc etc. and if after Vidya's birth if Goip left MM surely they made Vidya just like Koki and Ahem rude arrogant and barainless and she may hated her Mom to core as she left her So in Gopi's view she is right to leave MM where she doesn't have any respect from her husband and Saas

I still strongly believe that Gopi did not want to spite the Modis or wanted to take Vidya away because of a scheme.. She did it because she had some stupid reasons in mind.. I am pretty sure her explanation was a farce even to herself.

But.. But..

If Kokila was anything similar to what she was today, then I do not blame her... If Ahem was as silent and probably as angry when Meera disappeared, then I do not blame Gopi..

I agree that Gopi was wrong in hiding the fact that she was pregnant but I do not blame her for walking away without a word..

For eons, Gopi took the abuse and uttered nothing back. But I do not think she would have been in the right frame of mind when she was still abused of causing Meera's death/disappearance. She loved the child too much and the accusations along with the behavior can only lead her to fall off the edge which is what she did..

I do not think Ahem and Koki can wash their hands off Gopi going away so easily.. Excusing themselves by saying that they did not ask her to go away is like a slap to the face.. They keep verbally accusing her of making Meera disappear, blaming her for the child's mishap. A mother who is burdened already with guilt of letting go of her precious child still has to still there and bear these accusations on and on and yet stay?🥱 Why?

Gopi could have gone to her mother's. But she did not. Going to RN would have meant taking more of such accusations from Urmi and perhaps the pitying looks of her other family members.. Further, Ahem and Kokila would be there time and again accusing her and blackmailing the pregnant girl to come home and be the surrogate of the second child..

I agree that Gopi is to be blamed for hiding about Vidya but I do not think either Koki or Ahem can be absolved so easily for her going away..

I again reiterate, Verbal abuse is taken very lightly and we ask the question, was she tortured physically? No. Then why did she walk away. But verbal abuse is worse.

Even while I agree that initially the blame game would have been because of grief, I cannot say that it would have let up in due course.. Kokila and Ahem still harbor vengeance in heart for Gopi, even after 8 years..

I blame Koki more and Ahem for his silence. He may sincerely feel he was wronged because of Vidya and I agree. He and he alone has the right to be angry with Gopi with regards to Vidya. And he should make it a point to stop his mom.. Not stay silent while she abuses her DIL and then say that he has no part in it. He is a silent enabler.

So while I feel that Gopi cannot be absolved, she has a far better case than Ahem or Koki.. Hence go Gopi for now😊

@Justlikethat Well said👍🏼 A Mother who lost her precious child will go to any extent without even thinking whether they are right or wrong thats what Gopi did. Yes you are right if she went to RN then Koki may came to her and took away Vidya from her so she is right in her decision

koki to me seemed likea hyena ,,,a demoness...a totally evil person yesterday when she was scolding gopi...I am very happy gopi left MB...she lost Meera and if Ma -=Beta instead of sympathising with herloss...could only blame her ..then she owes them no explanation...good she went away...knowing Koki-ahem ..their obstinacy and bullying attitude...they would have separated gopi from her child saying sh is unfit...intheir eyes that would have seemed just...but because gopi dared to go away ...makes her a culprit/...
I am waiting to see vidya run away..and I hope gopi finds her and leaves rajkot...let ahem go to songadh and plead to be allowed to be her father...

Gopi was an unpad Gawar until a year into a marriage. Going to court and things like that are alien to her.

Saas and husband did drive her out Kools. That is my point. They may not have said "Get out Gopi" in those words, but they did drive her out by their constant accusations about Meera.

Ahem had a choice. He could have gone looking for a runaway wife or moved on. Gopi is not accusing him for trying to remarry. She was shocked that Radha would marry her own BIL. But if Ahem had remarried, it would have been something Gopi would have had to deal with. Fortunately it did not come to that..

Just because Ahem chose to remain angry and silent for 8 years and did nothing does not absolve him for his silence when his mother abused Gopi.

Bottomline, Koki drove Gopi out with her constant self righteous accusations amounting to torture and is trying to put the blame back on Gopi so that she can stay in the right for now. Ahem enabled her and took shelter behind tales of Grief and sadness and anger.

Neither looked at Gopi, a mother who fought to keep her child and who had to be dying for letting the child go.. They drove her to run away. Madhu ben confirmed the same when she accused Koki of the way she treated Gopi. Koki had nothing to defend herself but as this is the doormat Gopi, she decides to shout and make a case.

No wonder Gopi ran away.
