I was waiting for your take on that hand burn and mehendi scene. Very well said.
They are kinda of recreating the setting for Paro to really see with her open eyes what Rudra has been telling her all along. I am pretty sure Tejawat will hold her hostage at gunpoint in the mela.

Tab hi Parody bai sa ki aankhein khulengi.

It's something I understand that not many can fathom but I do because abuse is something that I am surrounded by daily. But nevertheless...I agree on your points where you have described Rudra's feelings and actions but again from where I see it it's abuse in the highest level...it's Psychological where the scars don't fade away. No doubt his intentions are that of a patriotic but it still doesn't absolve him...the fact that she is been abused cannot be denied neither can be forgotten. Yes, this is a love saga and that is what I signed up for and of-course I love Sanaya but what they are showing is not a lovestory ...instead it's a glorification of abuse. That is what I see and yes I am possessive about woman in general because I see too many abused women on a daily basis and believe me ...majority of them was abused by a loved one. It's sad but true. Abuse is very real in real life and I personally cannot see it being romanticized. I hope you understand my pov too.

I do...I have read many of ur posts and comprehend with ur POV and trust I dont mean to deny that Paro is being abused...and NO its not right...and thats why I said...that even Rudra admits to his doings as wrong...but he is bounded by his commitment and thus we see the result of it. Besides we cannot forget that Paro in a way called for all this herself when she threw an open challenge to him the day she returned back to him. Yes she may have not realized to what extent Rudra will go...but then if we cannot excuse Rudra for not knowing how far Paro will go to avoid mehendi ceremony...then we cannot excuse Paro as well. Its a battle of equals. She threw an open challenge to him already knowing the kind of janwaar ...hevaan...and jallard as she called him in the cell...he is...and he accepted the challenge openly telling her that he will go to any lengths to break her. The doings are wrong...YES...but the reasons are not...from both ends...as I say...EQUALS they are...cannot pinpoint only 1😳
I was just hoping that you take a show as an entertainment with a pinch of salt and ease ur mind by not linking ur real life work experience with on screen stories...its not healthy.
As for domestic violence...trust me...I have first hand experience in it...so I know what it is. Its definitely not romantic.

sorry to know that Sajni that you had to go through such an experience in any form. Believe me , I do watch it with a pinch of salt...I wouldn't have been able to watch any of it otherwise...specially anything after the way a woman suspect was interrogated...but the problem is, this is not an entertainment anymore when glorification of abuse is being depicted as romance. I cannot see it as entertainment only.

I always wait for your posts eveIine and once again you said it beautifully 👏
Thank you 😃

I guess for this story to inch forward that the wedding at shivratri mela will be a battle ground for sure i just hope Paro sees Thakur for what he is, or atleast questions her blind faith in Thakur and recognises Rudra as the one man who has told her the truth all along.

Beautiful post.Paros agony and helpnessless in her belief that she is to be married to her husbands murderer was very evident in her moment of self harm. However Rudra is just as justified in his own belief that nothing matters more to him than to restore honour to his dead soldiers. His actions are those of intimidation and manipulation but we also see his inner conflict. There is a growing realization on his part that this woman is starting to mean more to him than he wants and if he needs to vilify himself in order for her to distance herslf he will do it.Though the hatred is there between them there is also a growing attraction which each is trying to fight. This is not romance,it is passion which knows no rules. He hurts and is hurt. She resists and is drawn further to him.Whatever u think of the characters the writers have done a great job to create such a confict.
