Loved both the updates nevertheless. Shlok's another shade is definitely coming out loud and clear. And it's so cute. Lvd the phone convo between the two. You can't help but feel for the guy constantly worrying about loosing her. Better stop now. Still not fully recovered. Cheers.

Part 43

Astha went to Shlok's office. As usual the Audi was there at Preethi's doorstep and Suresh was also waiting in front of the car. He smiled as she came out. "Good morning Astha."

"Good morning" she smiled back. Suresh had been very happy when he had heard about her marriage with Shlok. Astha had been touched at the happiness of Radha and Suresh. She went into the huge building. Whoever saw her took a moment to greet her and offer their congratulations. Astha felt very different compared to the first time she had come in. Then she had been ignored by everyone but now she was noticed as soon to be Mrs Agnihotri.

Shlok got up as Astha came in. Suresh let Astha in and closed the door after her. Shlok pulled Astha into his arms. His lips met hers urgently. His hands went to the small of her back to pull her into his hardened body. Astha caught his arms for support. His sudden ardor took her by surprise. She broke off the kiss first to look into his face.

Astha looked at him in bemusement. "I thought the architect was coming?"

"Good that she is late. I can take time to relish my wife to be. And may I tell you that you look absolutely ravishing today?" Astha was attacked by a sudden bout of shyness. She smiled a shy half smile. Astha had worn a long skirt and a short kurta. She had worn some stylish bangles and dangler earrings to complete her look. Astha made a very pretty picture, young and carefree.

Shlok carried her to the couch in his cabin and sat with her by his side. He was caressing her even as Astha started wriggling away from him. "Shlok, please. Not in your office. The architect may walk in anytime. Please." The last word was a whisper.

"And you don't do it in the office?" He now openly smirked at her. "The last time I remember when you were in the building, the elevator.."

"Shlok!" Astha admonished him for bringing up their elevator experience. She was still shocked thinking about her behavior that day. Astha turned beet red and he laughed softly at her prim avatar.

"When you're so prim and proper it turns me on more. I want to undo you even more." His voice had lowered to a husky murmur, setting her blood singing in her veins. Astha moved away from him with difficulty. She knew she'd be lost if she gave in now. And that architect or any other staff could walk in on them any time.

Right on cue there was a brief knock on the door and Shlok's PA let in a beautiful, glossy looking woman into his office. Shlok instantly turned into the business magnate. He moved towards the woman and offered her his hand. "Hi Ria, come in."

"Hi Shlok." That woman was purring at Astha's fiance and Astha was slightly irritated. Why did women fall at Shlok's feet like this? She too went forward and Shlok introduced her to Ria.

Ria's smile turned slightly cold. But when Astha looked back at Shlok, she noticed that he was oblivious to the other woman's charm. His attention was solely on Astha. And he took her into a side hug while speaking to Ria.

Astha moved closer and placed her hand around his waist. Astha boldly met Ria's gaze and wordlessly warned her off Shlok. Shlok asked the ladies to move into a conference room and carry on with their discussion.

"Let me leave both of you to it. And Ria, you will do as Astha says. Send me the bill once everything is done. Two weeks, that's it! And I want all her requirements met. Is that clear?" He was his usual bossy, ordering self.

Astha came out of the conference room after two hours. Ria and herself had gone over the details of the house with photos and the floor plan. Astha had wanted specific things and Ria suggested some improvements. Together a plan had been set forward for the house. By the time the marriage got over the house would be ready.

Astha shook hands with the architect and led her out. She went back to Shlok's room. He was in a call. He motioned her to sit and spoke rapidly over the phone. Shlok ended the call soon and joined her. "How did it go?"

"Am happy. Do you want to know what's on?" Astha questioned him. Shlok took her hands and brought her into his arms. He kissed her hair and replied with a smile.

"Not really. I am looking forward to see your house after our wedding."

"Our house." She corrected him.

"Our house." He replied back. "And shall we eat? Do you want to go out somewhere?"

"How about your house? I will cook something quickly for you. I don't feel like going out now." Shlok acceded and they went out hand in hand to the black Audi. Shlok held Astha's hand as they traveled in the back seat to his mansion.

Shlok keyed the unlock key and opened the door. Astha came in and went towards the kitchen. It felt good to be back. As usual the kitchen was pristine thanks to Radha. Astha smiled and set about making some pasta with veg.

Shlok was working in his laptop. He was looking at Astha cook now and then. Astha had the headphones in her ears and she was swaying to some music as she cooked. Suddenly she turned around and noticed that Shlok had stopped working. He was staring at her. Astha blushed self consciously and pulled out her ear phones.

"Why did you stop? It was rather entertaining." Shlok smirked at her. Astha shook her head at him and went back to her cooking. She yelped when she felt his hands snake around her waist. He pulled her back to his body and nipped the side of her neck. Astha started to struggle out of his arms.

"Shlok; leave me. Hopefully you want to eat." She threatened him.

"Hmm..." He didn't seem to register her words. His hands went beneath her kurta, slowly snaking towards her curves. Astha's breath slightly hitched as his hand caressed the underside of her bosom. She leaned back, her head going against his chest. Astha's eyes closed of their own violation and her hands clutched his left hand that was still around her waist.

His member prodded her behind and she deliciously moved back against him. "Keep that up and we can christen the kitchen counter today." Astha gasped at his words and tried moving away immediately. But Shlok would have none of that. He turned her around swiftly, taking her mouth in his for a gentle yet deep kiss.

Astha gently caressed his shoulder, chest and moved towards his belt. He seemed to be wearing too many clothes. Shlok continued to kiss as her hands went below his belt, stroking his hard on. Shlok tore his lips off hers. He groaned and placed his hand on hers, urging her to go on.

Astha smelt something burning. With a cry she hurriedly went out of his arms to the gas. Astha saved the pasta just in time before it got burnt completely. Her face was hot with embarrassment at what she had been doing. Another few seconds, they would have gone beyond the point of return. She had as usual lost her head when she moved near Shlok.

Astha quickly set the table and the plates. She brought out chilled water and both of them had their meal in relative silence. Astha stole glances at him while he openly stared at her between reading his messages. He raised a brow when she blushed and looked down. "What?"

"Nothing. I will never tire of you. I just can't seem to keep my hands off you too. It is mutual." Astha bit her lip, her embarrassment still evident. Shlok laughed and pulled her lower lip out of her teeth. He rubbed the spot with his thumb slowly.

"I am a very lucky man. And right now I wish this damn wedding could go to hell. I want to take you to bed. Right now. I am aching for you Astha." Astha felt herself getting turned on at his words. She quickly drank some water. Before he could speak again his phone rang. With a muffled curse Shlok attended his business call.

Astha giggled at his obvious frustration and went back to eating her meal. They quickly finished their meal and left. Shlok had an important meeting and he dropped her in the flat before returning to his office. As she was about to get down, Shlok stroked her cheek and blew her a kiss. "Laters baby." His voice was sexy and soft. He winked at her before he let her go.
