"So soon..my god .." thought Pratigya...

"no..no..sir..my office..." the call was already disconnected. Arushi guessed the convo ..! Trying Hard to look normal, Pratigya started cleaning up the place..before he comes. Her sister could perfectly understand Pratigya. With a smile, she also started helping her.

In less than an hour, when Krishna entered their small home, Pratigya was tensed and turned red.

Arushi acted promptly and welcomed him. " welcome, sir.." said Arushi, and tilting her head slightly and smiling at him, she told Krishna," you have to thank me.."

"yes...a zillion times," krishna's smiled widened.

Pratigya couldnt stop wondering ..about the way Arushi n Krishna talk now forgetting what they had planned before. Is this possible..then will I also be able to forget my last with Manohar?" she thought.

She went inside to bring him juice and snacks. " coming Wednesday is auspicious, so let's have the wedding on that day..then after a week lets host a reception at Leela or Taj in a grand manner. Wedding be simple in a temple. And Pratigya tell me about our office, let me talk to your MD for relieving you."announced Krishna.

He sounded very planned. Collecting all her courage, she gave her savings, smth shud be from bride's side too. Krishna looked at her n gave a smile. "thanks " he gently patted her cheeks n said" take care",

Next day, they went our for shopping. She was pleased to see him select her wedding sari and few things that bride's family buy, with in the money she had given him.

"thanks for understanding"

"anything gor you, baby" he pressed her hands into his.

In the car, as they were travelling back, Krishna informed about his mother coming to meet her.

"maaji.?"

"shocked? Y? I also came out of my mother's womb only!" stressing my mother, he said.

Pratigya laughed.

" se is such a loving n caring lady. You will know it yourself today evening"" he gave a warm smile.

True he was. After her husband's death, Mrs. Singh moved into a shell and poojas n bhajans were things that she lived on with.

Her Bhai and Bhabhi stayed with Krishna n his mom and were looking after the house. These three people came to see Pratigya. They talked well and made the girls feel fine too.

"once you get used to the routine at our home, we three will move to our estate. " mrs. Singh smiled at Pratigya.

Wedding and Reception went on well. Pratigya's small hitches were waning away and she begin to feel better. Though she outlet really come out to accept Krishna...she definitely felt comfortable.

Keeping up his promise to be friends, he left her to another room saying a 'good night' with a smile.

During reception, whe she was clear.y getting confused by the names of the guests, he told her," don't take too much into your mind. You will get to know them slowly"

Getting Tanmay a decent job..

All such both simple gestures and big helps, ame her feel little at ease.

The first shock came from her sister. Arushi packed her jewels and dresses she got from Krishna...and came not pratigya's room to return it o her.

" this is all is yours Arushi, take it your room and arrange it back in your cupboard"

"no dI" that was a firm no.

"di..I can't take these...pls di.. If you can..get me the fees amt for that computer course...that's more then enough for me. And that too strictly as a loan. If no, then I don't want that too!"

Pratigya scoldings, begging nothing moved Arushi...she was stubborn on her stand.

" yu are not getting it di. If I take all tese, then doesn't it look like I give you for a price...how do you think I can do that? Pls di..try to understand"

Ok"o..whats that you were ready to do for this money n wealth...you didn't give a price then?"

" for something I want, I can pay with what I have...,,,even if it's priceless...but how's it fair on my part to make you pay for it? No di..I can never do that!"

"why do u value it in terms of money, baby? Take it as my love, affection"

" to understand your love, you though I would need your wealth. Don't I know how much you love me? What I mean for you?"

"what bakwaas? You were getting from me before?"

"before..before you were just my sister, now you are Mrs. Krishna Singh. Leave this matter altogether"

Had i not become Mrs. Singh to see You happy..now you are refusing to take it coz am Mrs.Singh?..thought Pratigya. She just couldn't digest arushi's stand.

When shw was about to say smth, Krishna entered the room saying," we have planned so much for you..and you are refusing this pearl set?..hmm?"

He talked to Arushi as if there was no Pratigya there. Pratigya upsetted this her more." now why is he not looking at me even..what did I do?" thought praitgya.

Pratigya was still breaking her head silently ..thinking about the indifference of Krishna. There, Krishna was trying to convince Arushi.

"this doesn't seem right"

" we are also telling the same Arushi"

" I mean,,u both are just married..not even a week now. You have already started worrying about others...that's what I said"

"you told fall in the others category" smiled Krishna,

Giving up, " sorry jiju..very sorry. But I can't take anything for here..pls give me the fee amount as a loan."said Arushi..she had made up her mind and was not ready to change it.

"then job for Tanmay is ok?"

" he will prove himself ..I know...I am sure. To be honest, for his character and calibre, even your position is less for him" Arushi took so much pride in saying that.

Krishna laughed happily. "Tanmay is very lucky" he then glanced at his wife for a moment.

Pratigya understood that her husband is targeting in his praise for her sister.

"I shall bring coffee n snacks for u" she was about to leave. " bring nly the tiffin...and bring it to my room"

Pratigya left. He was about to leave, when Arushi said," you are very very lucky, jiju"

He smiled at her n left the room.

In krishna's room, he wiped away all the smile and said in such a hardened voice, " I know you ant interested in this marriage and married for your sister's sake. But. Need not be telling the whole world about it" he was very angry.

Pratigya understood he misunderstood her..and was about to explain it to him, " no..no..I didn't mean like that.."

Stopping her midway, he said assertively, " whatever may be the thing between us, that is within these four walls. For the world outside, ours is a love marriage. I wouldn't like to hear anything other than this. So, I expect you be careful in wat you talk" he left to his office room.

Pratigya felt very bad after that...her heart was very heavy. Was greatly upset.

However, next day morning seeing Krishna in his usual self, she was little relieved. But was determined to be little more careful.

But that evening, Krishna returned home ith a girl. She was young, beautiful with a child like face. She was clinging onto him ..his shoulders. Blah blahing ...in a chirpy voice. Pratigya's eyes n heart started burning seeing all these. What enraged her more was , Krishna wasn't keeping her away. He didn't go near that girl, but he didn't push her as well. He introduced them to each other. She was Dolly, his partner's daughter. Pratigya's anger was obviously evident. Krishna didnot fail to notice it but did not care about it either. She went inside her room.

Pratigya had all worst possible imaginations, are they just friends? Or smth smth? Is it still on? Che..Che..Krishna is very decent he wouldn't do that. Why is behaves so badly? Doesn't she knwl he is married? Even if smth smth was there before, why didnot he tell me...I did it tell him about Manohar? Why can't he? Why is this all happenging to me?

After a while, Krishna came to meet Pratigya in her room. She looked at him.

"you won't see off our guests. Dolly is leaving, come down"

"why? Will she not leave without telling me?"

"what do you mean?"

"why didn't you marry her?"

"whhaaat?..come again"

" you shud hav married Dolly na!"

He started laughing..."marrying her? If he nail breaks, she will ry for two days. Marrying her is chanceless..out of question"

Why is he laughing now..she was irritated.

"ohh..that's why, she for loving n I for having kids. ."

"Che..bakwaas"

"if I talk, how else u wud feel!"

"Krishhh...come down fast...we are getting late for the movie!" came Dolly's voice from downstairs.

Pratigya gave a dry smile.

"shit..!" said Krishna leaving the room.

He was very very angry. N she was feeling beaten.
