Hai himmat?
She dared him!
And The words haunted him
As much as the letter had hurt her!
He had ruthlessly broken the rishta
Then what was it fascinated him so ?
The tiny ghunghroos in the kamarband that jingled in his heart?
Or that nazuk waist that held promises of sensuality?
Or that voice which beckoned him, dared him, challenged him?
Saras was tempted, attracted and lured by her anger!
And what was it that hurt her so?
A man unknown, unseen had rejected her
Hurt ego and pride?
Her fathers happiness dashed?
Or her own broken heart?
For the eyes with their sachchai
Had already captured her dreams
And the dard in his eyes
Had tugged at her heart strings
He had never seen her, nor had any desire to
Yet, why could he not put her hurtful words out of his mind ?
She had no desire to marry a coward as him
Yet why did it hurt so?
Dekhiye yeh anokhi pehli mulaqat
Jo adhoori ho ke bhi poori thi
Jis ke na mein haan thi
Jahan inkaar mein ikraar tha
Takraar mein pyaar tha
Iss mulaqat mein Saras aur Kumud ko ek doosre se pyaar nahi hua to kya
Aapko Zaroor ho jayega, pyaar, in dono se,
Ek baar phir se
So dekho, aur likho
Iss scene ke bare mein!
