Things were not going well in Raj Shekhar's (Sandeep Mehta) life after the sudden demise of his wife Gayatri (Sonali Verma). This tragic incident left its scars Bauji's life as he was often noticed sitting grief stricken and sad by Akshara and Naitik. The pair shared their concern with other members of the house and looked for a permanent solution to Bauji's loneliness.
Their prayers were answered in the form of virtuous Devyani (Kshitee Jog), the beloved daughter of Singhania's family doc, who often visited the family home to give medicines. After a few meetings, Devyani and Bauji developed a liking for each other. The dutiful bahu Akshara noticed this and decided to unite them as husband and wife. Of course, this idea was not welcomed by other family members due to their orthodox beliefs. But after much thought, everyone gave in to Akshara's appeal, except her little one, Naksh.
Naksh's problem is that he is not yet able to forget his old dadi and is unwilling to see Devyani take her place. He is playing pranks on Devyani to stop the union by hiding her mangalsutra before the marriage rites and even trying to drench her with a bucketful of water during her entry into the house as a new bride. Yet, all his mischiefs are in vain as his parents are keeping a close watch on him.
Anyway, the Singhania's have brought home Devyani and she is trying to build a strong rapport with every member of her new family. However, the awkward situations that she and others have to face these days, is something we couldn't ignore.
For example, at the dinner table, while everyone was eating together, Devyani started coughing. She was instantly offered water by her step-son Naitik who referred to her as Aunty'! While Devyani looked on helplessly, both Akshara and Naitik were kinda embarrassed.
But later, during a private conversation, Naitik told Akshara that he can't fake his feelings for Devyani as he is not prepared to see her as his mother. However, he assured her that he will start calling her as Maa' after he gets used to the changes. Sound well as long as the intentions are right. But we wonder how little Naksh will adapt to these changes.
Stay tuned for more updates!
