Iqbal’s Narrow Escape! - An article

Iqbal Khan, the handsome hunk of tellydom, narrowly escaped with his life when a fire broke out during the shooting for the cover of a magazine at a studio in Andheri. Mahendra Soni, the fashion photographer, who was shooting with the actor could not get the required shot and now plans to re-shoot the sequences. In fact, Iqbal had to stand between the two lines of fire as background for the shoot but things did not work out to the satisfaction of the photographer and the plastic got burnt.

As Iqbal explains, ' I was cautious because I had to stand right in between the two lines of fire which Mahendra Soni had artificially created. It was looking great and I knew it would make a great photograph. But the backdrop was made of plastic material and it immediately caught fire. We all saved our lives by simply running out of the studio. I don't think we need to shoot anymore, but if Mahendra asks me, we shall do it again.'
