I know hide. Wikipedia says he had five wives although not sure whether they were all at the same time - I don't think so though.

I thought it was disgusting that Tamil Nadu and a couple of other States objected vehemently to the proposal to make bigamy unlawful. Hence concession was made in the form of consent being obtained from the first wife.

this should be a central issue.. justice system in the country needed to be changed..😕
