I agree that Deepika's performance last year was fabulous, I mean she definitely proved herself as a great actressđ. Last year was so much of her, her with five movies, her winning awards in every award function, her in tv commercials and lastly her and Ranveer Singh. đ¤˘
But really, I honestly am tired of seeing her now. I am bored as an audience to see her in every big banner movie. I know she works hard and all but if you have 4-5 movies coming out in a year that's just too much of you! I am afraid that she may on top of the league at the moment ( and mashallah, for many more years) but after a few years, if she keeps on delivering so much in so little time, its all going to be lost amongst all.
I remember watching one of Salman Khan's interview and he was asked why he does a lot of special appearances? (Infact he has the longest list of special appearance that he made in movies). And he said just to help a movie out, to promote a film.đ Later, he added that maybe that's why some of his films weren't working out because he was seen in movies too much and he was afraid that the audience was bored to see him in every third movie.đ
I mean if Salman's so called loyal fan base could get bored of seeing him, it could happen to anyone. And I deeply fear that for Deepika Padukone. To make it even worse, she is an actress and Bollywood is indefinitely a male-dominated industry. There was a time when Kajol was on the top of the league, she delivered 14 films in 3 years and then she was done and dusted from the industry for a few years with maximum of 2 releases in a year.
I really love Deepika for what she has achieved but I feel that she is going too fast. Yet, that seems like the only option for actresses in their short lived career in Bollywood.đ
P.S I can totally understand if you are still not bored of Deepika, please don't take this post to heart.
