Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, better known as
Reyaansh Singhania aka Rey' from Channel
V's longest running show Dil Dostii
Dance, gets candid with urlremoved on
life and more!
If you were one word, what would it be?
Well, umm...I can definitely be described as
emotional, and competitive!
What is the biggest misconception people
have about you?
That I am a rude and tough guy! That usually
happens when they first meet or see me.
If you could eat anything and never put on
weight, what would you live on?
Maggie, Maggie and Maggie!
Any special memorable incident/moment
you will always remember?
So on my birthday last year, I wanted an early
pack up, but just a while before that, the team
told me that I have to go for a channel new
promo shoot which I just can't miss. That
really angered me as I wanted to leave early
but after a point I couldn't argue with them,
as the channel had planned it. So I went off
for the shoot, and what angered me even
more was the area we went to, which had no
network at all! But when we finally got to the
location, the entire D3 cast and crew along
with Charlie were waiting there to surprise
me. So it was a very nice surprise bash, and
something so special which will always be
very memorable for me.
What's the wildest thing you have ever
done?
That would be Bungee Jumping' during my
recent visit to the Della adventure resort.
What scares you the most?
Umm... I am most scared of hurting my close
and dear one's in any way. I try to always be
safe and avoid that, but in the process I do
end up hurting them sometimes, which really
really scares me. I can't bear seeing anyone
sad or hurt because of me.
Which is your favourite physical feature?
My eyes, lips and chest!
The last time you laughed really hard?
Well, that happens a lot actually! So a few of
my students stay with me and it's because of
their funny talking ways that I just laugh a
lot! They aren't very good with their English
but are so confident about what they say,
which is really really funny! I shall share a
few incidents, which I still laugh about
sometimes. We had once gone to CCD for a
quick bite, and they wanted to order a
Spinach and Corn sandwich' but instead kept
asking the guy at the counter for a Spanish
and Corn sandwich'! The guy was so confused
and kept looking at me but my students were
so confident of what they were saying, which
was a very very funny situation which I still
can't stop laughing about! Then another time
we went to a juice bar where they kept
asking the guy for Grap' juice instead of
Grape' juice which confused him too, and the
way they were saying it was just so funny,
that we couldn't stop laughing only! And the
funniest of them all was when I was
discussing with them about how I would like
to go abroad someday, and they too were
telling me that they would also like to come,
when finally they said, we googled abroad
though, but can't figure out where this place
is! At first I thought they were joking, but
then I realized that they were serious about
it. Oh God, these few things really make me
laugh hard, and even now!
The last time you had tears in your eyes?
That was when I was reading a fan's letter,
which she had sent me just before she passed
away. The letter was left incomplete, which
made me very very emotional. These things
just remind me of how much responsibility I
carry on my shoulders!
One embarrassing moment that you will
never forget?
Oh God, there is one which I will never ever
forget! So I had gone to watch a movie
sometime back, and went off to the washroom
in the interval. I was just walking around and
without realizing or looking at the sign
outside, I entered the ladies washroom! And
was wondering to myself on how everything
has suddenly changed, and why there are so
many mirrors around! And then from the
mirror, I saw a lady standing behind me and I
just ran out! On my way out too, there was
another lady entering the washroom just
looking at me. Though luckily nobody caught
me! That is something I will never forget.
What can make you feel better instantly?
Food for sure!
One question you wish the media would
stop asking?
When I will get married! I really wish they
could just stop asking me that.
