Why should Bachchans be given sp treatment?

Juhu residents angry over three-day road blocks for Abhi-Ash wedding

If you plan to drive to Juhu from 5 pm today to 5.45 pm on Friday, don't.

Thanks to the Bachchan mega wedding, severe traffic restrictions have been imposed. Residents say the restrictions are unfair, but the authorities seem to disagree.

Traffic on at least five roads leading to or away from the Bachchan bungalows, Prateeksha and Jalsa, have either full or partial blocks.

Traffic on Dyaneshwar Marg, Kavi Bai Marg, Sangeet Bhartai Chowk and Shamrao Parulekar Marg will be tightly monitored from April 18 to 20 from 5 pm onwards.

In a meeting with top police officials on Monday evening, Amitabh Bachchan promised to pay all policemen on duty around Jalsa and Prateeksha a total of Rs 1,12,500 according to stipulated police guidelines.

Blocked: Access to Arogya Nidhi Hospital and the Lotus Eye Hospital on Shyamrao Parulekar Marg from Dyaneshwar Road to be blocked on April 20.(A)

Alternate route: The hospitals can be approached from Juhu Gymkhana side (A1)

Blocked: The ICICI ATM located opposite Prateeksha will completely inaccessible by road. Popular ice cream parlour Natural ice cream will also be accessible from Prateeksha. (B)

Alternate route: The ATM will be blocked completely as it is bang opposite the Bachchan residence. However, one can get to Natural ice cream from JVPD road No 12 or Juhu Gymkhana (A1)

Why should the Bachchans be given so much importance?

Why should they be allowed to create problems for the public?

Would the authorities permit me to hold such an event?

well......did the bachchans pay for teh street to be blocked?? cuz any1 can do that rite...

i remember wen the premier for guru happened here in toronto....a whole street was blocked here as well....but obviously they paid...there was security and all everywhere...

but den again.....this is toronto....u gotta follow rules and laws here.....dont noe about mumbai... 🤔

I feel the interview is right. Why should the bachans get special treatment.. Arnt they normal people like us?? Or are they or even filmstars superior to us?

They are the BACHCHANS-THe name speaks. And like it or not, Amitabh Bachchan has become the face of India to no minor extend and this is not restricted to B'wood. For such a powerful famly, this is no wonder.---Should they or shouldnt they---the debate doesnt change the spl attention they get anyway.

well the thing is......if u can afford to buy the street for a day or watever.....den there shudnt be no problem....

if they did it for free...than that sucks cuz it wudnt happen for any1 else....but if the bachchans paiddd to get it closed....then.....hmmm.....any1 can really do that...rite??

atleast here they can....u need to get permission..and go thru alot of paper work and stuff to get a street closed (but it has to be a good reason)

hi friends here in Mtius also during wedding ceremony ppl do blocked the street in front of their house to extend space but with the permission of the authority & the police Dept n that's for only 2 or 3 days ....if the Bachaan followed the rules n regulations accordingly, so no problem, maybe he hasnt enough space for welcoming guests or for parking 's use ...thnks

Well said... we are the ones who give the film stars fame, shudn't they owe all their fame to us? And if so, they are giving us inconviences😕
