Looks like Nikhil doesn't meet Laajo's father. So he will have to listen to Barkha's harsh words & no one to say anything to explain the situation. Anyway Nikhil's presence wouldn't have made any difference. He would have just stayed there & watched.

Was he annoyed when Nani & his mom were talking about how Ishaana suits him better than Laajo?

I thought he was there (standing upstairs), not right from the beginning but when Barka starts telling Ram Bachan the truth. I truly hated the smile on Ishana's face looking at Ram Bachan's plight after Barka told him the truth. The two of them deserve each other...
