Prologue
A thousand years. It is such a long time. In a thousand years you can love someone. In a thousand years you can hate someone...In a thousand years someone's memory can be still that fresh as ever. It is a long time but is it really?
A thousand years alone is the worst kind of punishment ever. And living only with that memory of her. The only hope you have is that you forget it...But how can you when that was your life...
My life has taught me a lot. I learned patience and honesty...most importantly love, which she taught me. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She was a reason for a new beginning of my life she was the reason for my love, trust and hope...but now she is the reason for my tears, grieve and longing.
Today alone I stand. I remember that she said I will stand by you always...but remember you will not see me'. I laughed at that and she said that she always kept her promise...but did she? Did she really? No matter how much I try to lie myself I know that she never lies. She always kept her promise...but now how can she. How can she keep her promise when she is dead..
Piano...it was her favourite instrument. She played it the first thing in the morning and last thing in the night. How much irritating it was to me before...but now it is the only thing that calms me...the only memory I have of her...the only part of her.
As my fingers glided down the keys...the sweet sound emerged form it...I could feel she was with me ...right beside me...
The only hope for me to ever live again was a promise...it was not just a promise. It was something more than that...
