- Papa kehte hain would be replaced by a gujju folk inspired song and everybody would do garba on it

Zoya

- Raj- Rashmi would meet on a road trip

- Raj would be running away from home because his father is pressuring him to become an engineer or take up family business while he needs to search for an identity

- Rashmi would be wanting to see the world one last time before she settles in an arranged marriage

- In the end Rashmi discovers that her calling is acting in daily soaps and Raj settles for an arranged marriage

- The parents' on both side blame each other and kill each other while Raj and Rashmi live happily ever after!

Eeyoretel - Would make Raj a filmstar and Rashmi a page 3 reporter.

TV dekha - would cast Big B as Raj and SRK as Rashmi

TroubleShooter - Would add a scene where Rashmi writes a love letter in Hindi to Raj

D34Life and TallyHo- Would sit in dharna and protest ...they'd demand that no remakes EVER be made coz the original is just perrrfect ( in Madhuri's voice)
