I really don't understand this emotional bonding with every other stranger in Indian culture.

Even on the streets it is "bhai-sahaab" "behen-ji"... what is that all about?
I could never imagine calling anyone else but my relatives behen or bhai etc.
Here in the West we call a stranger, miss or mister, ma'am or sir, if it's your best friend (dost/saheli), their husband or wife is also just a good friend.
So in my point of view, Urmi is NOT Ishaan's bhabhi.
But then again, it's everybody's own point of view... people can make it as easy or as difficult as they want it to be.

The fact is...
If you call every other stranger "bhai" or "behen" or whatever rishta that is not a blood relative, the REAL meaning of those rishta's get lost!
Sure, call a cab driver "bhai-sahaab", but the next weak "behen-ji" is lured and raped by the same "bhai-sahaab"!
Sorry, the meaning of those names means more in Western society than in Indian society, I guess...
