Star Guild Awards 2014 prove a huge success
The Star Guild Awards was easily the most watched Bollywood event on UK Asian television of recent times, BizAsia can confirm.
Last night, the Star Guild Awards kicked off with a Red Carpet event at 19:00 bringing in 121,600 viewers - peaking at 153,900 viewers. The Main Event at 20:00 - 23:30 pulled in a staggering 248,300 viewers - peaking at 383,500 viewers - the biggest ever for a non-fiction show on Star Plus for many months. The Magical Moments of Star Guild Awards at 23:30 attracted 53,500 viewers.
The Star Guild Awards also pipped the final of Nach Baliye', which aired on Star Plus on Saturday night. The final brought in 240,500 viewers.
On Colors, India's Got Talent' pulled in 71,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by Comedy Nights With Kapil' featuring Daler Mehndi at 22:10 attracting 62,200 viewers.
On Rishtey, Mere Qatil Mere Dildar' at 20:30 got 35,800 viewers, while Aamne Saamne' at 21:30 pulled in 27,400 viewers.
