Very well-said.

What I like about all yours posts is the Balance & lucid simplicity you bring to them. 😊

What I hope for most is that in front of the Grand Door of Epic Romance that they've promised us &based this show on, I fervently hope other relationships aren't sacrificed & the characters aren't made to look worse for wear.

But OF COURSE that IS what is going to happen since this is Indian TV. 😊

The toughest bit for Jodha will be to convince Jalal & make him see that, she does not do any of this for his suraksha out of a sense of duty, her patni-kartvyaa.. But out of the un-known albeit passionate emotions that've begun to settle in her heart without her realisation.

Yes, Salima and Ruqaiya are certainly two people whose relationship with Jalal, for starters, needs to be explored more. Currently arch villains like Maham Anga and the hapless benazir eat up all the time. I adore Salima and have a soft corner for Ruqaiya, no matter how much CVs have made her look like Maham Anga's alter ego.

As for Jodha convincing Jalal - She may mean one thing, but the words that come out may sanitise the passion (she's a doll, love her). She's new to all this. My hopes are with Jalal. He is wise when he wants to be. His EQ can take my breath away. He speaks and acts so quickly sometimes that Jodha and I are left wondering... what just happened. 🤔 ... 😆 and I like people who surprise me.

neelkamal, drama is why I'm here now. Without some characters behaving in strange ways, there will not be a story. Why, even Jalal's and Jodha's hearts are behaving strangely. Up until now, both have felt things about the other. Jodha for one doesn't even want to feel what she's feeling. But kya karen... love is like that - can't help when or where we fall in love. The other person becomes downright annoying, but that's also love.

But after this week's upcoming episodes, the love story also has to progress. Both should see their love being rewarded in a small way. Reciprocation of feelings.

well she hurls Jalal's hurtful words back at him. While we thought she hadn't noticed what he said, she had carefully recorded it in her soul and couldn't help saying them out loud as her last words. When we love, we also sometimes want to hurt.
