thanks a lot abhay for all these intresting history facts & all the hardwork you put to gather these facts & make these threads 👏 really appriciate 👏 keep up the good work 👍🏼
i too searched alot about this '' Vishkanya '' exist i really found it intresting 😳 but your resarch is the perfect reply to my questions 👏
Akbar being moved after this event this line surely holds many facts behinds.. its like a puzzel unsolve .. but i thinkq that this vishkanya incident played a role in akbar jodha relationship
but we can only assume such things ... on these half undefined history lines
well coming to serial vishkanya story
the Vishkanya character facinated me in JA serial the day Ben enter the show the only complain i have with the Cvs is that they didn't handle the '' Vishkanya track '' well enough they ruined it by showing akbar closiness & nikkah decision with ben .. but i don't complain much as its the Trps masala which cvs have to add in the show 😆
abhay plz can you answers the Dates/Years ?
1.which year & what age Jodha Jalal got married ?
2.when did jodha have her first child ?

thanks 😊

So two incidents and both involved MUZ 😊 thecurrent track is historically accurate , just some extra spice added for the show 😊
I sincerely hope that Akbar didn't say... won't see your face even if you die... to MUZ 😕😭

Thnx Sonia.
Yes, these tracks are true historically.

(Caution: Do not feel i am advocating the theory of serial. I am just saying this VK incident happened. And, his wife's involvement was there in some way. The exact episode is to be ascertained. As, the account could not be read properly.)

Would like to reply to you especially, since you have unknowingly(perhaps) raised a point. 😊
@bold underlined

I also wish Akbar didn't say anything. But, just an example to show that accounts were written in such a great depth at that time also.!
(Writing this since many people asked this question in PMs.!...)

The following are Man Singh's words to Mirza Hakim, before the battle of Lahore, in 1580-81. Hakim had numerically better forces than Man Singh, and asked Man SIngh to surrender.

Look what Man Singh replied--->>

" I will not break my promise to your brother Jalaluddin, who has kept this fort under my charge. If you want to try your fortune, move forth to the storm ; as I am ready to stop you. If you have faith in your greater forces, I am confident of the valour of my blood and my men, who will die thousand times sooner than surrender. If you proceed and capture the fort, I won't care for my life. I only care to be faithful to my word to my Shahenshah. "

Hope you got the depth of chronicles. They were recorded and nicely too. At times even conversations were recorded.😊 You must be thinking, was the author along with Man Singh, that he wrote all this.😆... Yes, the chroniclers were with him.😊.. Infact, even while proceeding on wars, they used to carry many articles/chroniclers/and many other things, with them, and the train of people following the Emperor, used to be in some kilometers.!.

So, since am still not able to read that account in TOTALITY, so won't give ANY CONCRETE assurance. Will update if i get more in future.😊

Big thanks for the detail replies.
I like this version of JA better than the movie, from Jodha's point of view this sounds more realistic, atleast I hope so!

It is hard to imagine more vicious MahamA! Since they are taking some liberties with the dramatization of the events, I hope they show MahamA real face exposed before Jalal when she is alive. Will wait and see.
Looks like real Jalal trusted those who backstabbed him and distrusted those he should have trusted! Guess it had to do with his upbringing by MahamA

If they do follow the timesline guess Adham-MahamA stunning track to follow soon in serial. Even just reading these events sound so dramatic, watching them will be more so I think. If what they are showing in serial about MahamA is realistic then reading what you wrote can say she deserved the end she got.

Will hold onto posting more Qs for the time being!!!!!!

I think not only maham was more vicious, even our so innocent (muz) and gullible (ruks) were intelligent and resourceful and cunning enuf to b a match for her (maham) but since the emperor loved her so much, they could not do anything except for just protecting thmselves against mnaham

Thanks Abhay for your detailed , in-depth reply to my unintentional query 😊
I do understand that VK incident is historically correct but the spice is just to garner trp's for the show... though there must have been MUZ's involvement in such incidents. 😊

@red...Wow !! 👏👏 No wonder Akbar had the good sense and judgement to make Man Singh one of his Navratna.

Abhay, all in the forum were laughing at the Ben - Vishkanya track. Then you informed us about a Vishkanya being sent to kill Akbar who was caught at the last minute. This info was very interesting and we could no longer ignore the presence of Vishkanya in history and the serial. But this new added info of Abu mali-HM's mother conspiracy and Akbar being moved by the incident, only adds up to the excitement. I have a feeling that Ekta is purposely dragging this track. Not because of Meghana or TRPs but maybe because it is one of the most important points of Akbar-MUZ relationship. (I am saying this based on the words in bold) As seen in the serial, both of them have started sensing their feelings during this track only.

As for the second point about a soldier getting caught, I remember in the serial a person had come to kill MUZ during their trip to Ajmer. He was caught by Jalal. The reason he stated that they were let down by Jodha marrying Akbar and this has shamed them. Here although Bhagwan das did not interfere. So maybe your said point will come in the future. But somehow your second point reminded me of this track.

Pallavi,
@bold...i feel same.. And, still trying to find what happened actually in reality..😊..And, the next attack is different, since here Bhagwandas is involved.

Akansha,
I have not read complete account. Trying..😊

thank u thank u Abhay !!! so CVs r following the timeline too ! praiseworthy ! like others, I'm also eager to know did Jodha drink the posion to save Jalal's life..I understand the book is not readable...phi bhi do try !! we can actually take sighs of relief !😳

Pakka Tamy,
I have given that account to someone else to try. Lets see, if we get more info..😊

Abhay this document that refers to the VK track where it says Akbar was deeply moved - does this give anything of his queen being poisoned and then treated for it?

Also I think without the Zeher Mohra frm Benazir they wont be able to save anyone - and as of now the Zeher Mohra is back with her and she will definitely flee - and her poison needs to be treated immediately - so am wondering - will Jalal let Jodha drink the poisoned drink????

Adi,
@bold...This was mentioned in the concluding/ending lines of VK episode. Could not read about queen thing. The text was not clear.

@bold.. This is recorded in chronicles, also..😊

akbar was deeply moved can it be bcos of jodha getting ready to sacrifice her life for jalal? Can it be becos of his bhaviour towards the same jodha who actually tried her level best to mk him understand the truth?
Just curious to know more on this ...

Even i am curious (all are curious..)...😊.

Jodha's drunk/not drunk venom in history isn't yet clarified..but it seems in serial cvs r feeding venom to jodha for increasing extra spicy in track..so the base of any one track till date in show isn't implausible..but the way cvs add phaltu mirchi with every track its realy unsustainable.

Nabiii,
No doubt serial is spiced up. But, certainly the text points towards her involvement.

Originally posted by: lashy

Even if Jodha didn't drink any poison or any such thing, she could have been the driving force behind trying to catch the culprit...and that's why the two aspects have been linked in the show...

(still,
1) I wish they hadn't stretched this track so much
2) I wish they hadn't shown all that snake eating drinking vomiting etc because made for horrible viewing
3) I wish they didn't show so much of open Jodha humiliation, because even for drama - they could have kept it to within 4 walls of her hojra

As for if Jodha would have drunk the poison - If you haven't been able to decipher it, I doubt the CVs would have too..
Maybe she risked her life to a certain extent and thats been translated to this poison drinking scene here...

The dialogues she says before drinking the poison is typical of what our aunties love to watch - the way she gives her final farewell speech... so I assume that bits been added by the CVs for drama...
thanks so much for the info
and kamal khan's there too, haan? Ok...
Great work Abhay! 👍🏼

Welcome di.😊
Your every point is bang on. We all are having similar thoughts. She could have helped in exposing her. But, those humiliations could have been kept in 4 walls. I agree..

This info does help...
It looks like the creative picked a few things and exaggerated it to make a track around it.
Its nice to know the whole thing is not entirely fiction.
I just watched the precap again. It really looks bad. Jodha is giving a long lengthy farewell speech and everyone (about 50 people) are just frozen, with no reflexes to actually stop her from drinking...
Salima knows abt Ben being Vishkanya...She too never came forward? For the sake of dramatizing things, the creative has overlooked logic in this track making it seem so unreal.
The complaint I have is the creative could've made the same a bit more realistic.

Yes... Atleast it's not total fiction..😊..Also, CV's could have handled this in better manner..

BTW, another "bouncer" for me, found "slightly different" version of MA's death few days back, in royal chronicles only. And, more than 1 chroniclers have recorded that version. They "ALL" are different from Abul Fazl's account of Akbarnama. Plz Wait, i will post soon.

Hope you post about this new information about MA soon. Very eager to read😊
BTW - I made 2 long posts here just now, your views please😊

Surely, i will share, that info on MA. And, yes Maddy, i will see your 2 posts as well..😊

Hi Abhay! Its so cool to read your posts...who knew history could be so alluring. My friend was on an assignment and she brought home a really dead book from public library. Dead for it had mites running all over. Nonetheless we read it as I had to help her prepare her project. In it was mentioned that the first Hindu wife had been stabbed once or twice maybe and every time it was in attempt to save Akbar. While your posts do throw a light on this aspect; could you still please confirm the chronological order of it??

This is shocking.😳...I did not encounter anything like this..Will look into this as well..😊
