Kareena Kapoor has been refusing more films recently than she has been accepting, as she wants to take it slow in 2014.
"This year is more about being content and spending time with my husband. I am doing the films I really want to do and am saying no to the rest, even when approached by friends. Ideally, whatever I haven't done as yet, I want to do this year," she says.
After being a vegetarian for nine long years, is she a proper begum now, even when it comes to food? "I do eat eggs and have also started to eat fish now," says Kareena, adding that she will definitely not endorse non-vegetarian brands "Apart from not endorsing brands like alcohol and cigarettes. I keep away from them".
Kareena was supposed to team up with Hrithik Roshan for a Karan Johar film 'Shuddi'. But nothing has progressed on that front yet. "We don't know what's happening," she says, adding, "I haven't met Karan lately and I don't think we have Hrithik's dates for the film. On whether I will sign up for it, will ultimately depend on my mood then!"
But mention 'Singham 2' with Ajay Devgn and her face lights up. "It's a pretty interesting role. I have never played a Maharashtrian girl in my career and I have the chance now. I share a good rapport with Rohit Shetty as well," she says.
Kareena was also recently signed on to endorse a tea brand. Incidentally her husband, Saif, promotes a rival brand. "We both endorse a tea brand each, so we have loads of tea," she says.
