Years ago, as a child my parents took us to Jaipur for a tour. I remember bringing back some arts and crafts. The art had some Rajasthani women adorned in their local tribal dresses with ghagra choli type garments. The women in the art were all very consistent with exposed waist and all.
Not sure why some of the other pics aren't getting loaded, but some had similar clothing to what Paro's Massi and Bhindi were wearing.
With so many recent posts concerned about the authenticity of the costumes that are being worn on RR. I thought I would do some research on what actual Rajasthani tribal women wear and this is what I found.
