DISAPPOINTING..sneha's sharon had class and attitude which we neither want to nor can ever forget"
P.S. is it necessary to bring other person dat to DIRECT one. 🤢

I know yaar. I felt so silly while posting that note, like I was in kindergarten but it can't be helped, I guess. This place has more ppl ready to attack the most insignificant words in a post n turn the post into a ridiculous war zone than the spanish armada. So many posts have been so diverted from their content n forced to be closed that I decided to make it very clear right at the beginning that this is about sneha. Even in the content I had to be careful to use first person while stating opinions so that no one feels like I'm trying to turn it into the universal truth...it is ridiculous. Writing political speeches is easier than writing anything about sneha or tanha here nowadays

True man, there have been so many attempts to create grey characters but most of them have fallen flat on their faces coz the actor didn't have the talent to pull it off. Most of them thus end up sliding to either the black or white zone. Sneha kept sharon in the grey zone till the end..what an actress!!

I completely agree!
She was black white grey simultaneously! She was not all mushy and gooey during the trial relationship she wasn't all rude and bitchy before it
Her Sharon had many shades and layers to her
That SRP was not a bubbly girl next door

Agree. Sneha kept the real essence of Sharon in tact till the very end, no matter how much people accuse her of ruining SwaRon and blah blah. That shows what an actress she was. I cannot even count how many utterly ludicrous arguments I've heard regarding her 'not justifying' Sharon. 😆 Will tell you once in leisure. Makes for great entertainment.
Anyway... I'm glad she did not turn into a mooshy mooshy teenager, rolling her eyes all the time and grinning like an idiot. Her Sharon was very much in love, but she didn't throw her complexes and conflicts outta the window once she was in love, and put on a dupatta.
And personally I always felt that it was only fair that SwaRon would go through such a downfall in terms of romance after a 'trial relationship'. Their relationship was basically an open relationship, and people who have been in one, would know that if one person is in love in such a relationship while the other is not, and both are trying very hard, it always ends in a disaster.
So according to me, SwaRon's downfall was justified, be it for Sneha's issues, or the writer's lack of imagination.

Exactly Sharon's complexity and diva attitude was soul of her character ... which i never wanted to be destroyed... neither Swayam wanted as once he said NO to change ... if she changed She no longer Sharon... her complexity and attitude made her different from others... which caught my attention... Sneha kapoor did a great job to portrayed them and She maintained this quality of Sharon's character to very end and in each and every scene whether she was in relationship or not... Brilliant job done by SK
Sharon was not an ordinary girl She had the charm, complexity and attitude in her ... wahi khatam to usme aur vimla kamla shanti mein kya fark... aur yahi dekhna hai to me tilak dhari aunty ka serial na dekhu... ek bechari nari usko satane wali do char nari😆... un serial ko dekh ke kuch designer suits sari dekhne ko milegi😛 😆

Sharon is or I would say was not at all that kind of a person with whom people connect automatically and start loving her from am day one. She was the most complex regarding her feeling and emotions! she felt something else ub expressed the total opposite of it and if a dumb actor was given this role to play then but obvious none of us would have actually understood what and who Sharon Raiprakash actually was. Sneha made me understand Sharon she made me realize why Sharon behaves the way she does. Why is she so complicated. Although I would have loved it if the cvs gave some closure to her past, if they gave a few justifications also. I just assume that it was coz of her dad and she didn't have a mother
Sharon's character could have done wonders if it still lived

thank every god in the vast heavenly pantheon for that!! personally i feel bubbly only suits bubble-gums not people. it makes me sick to watch girls giggling like morons and batting their eyelids. it is an insulting stereotype of women and it sickens me to watch girls glorifying their own insult.

once again rini, you've hit the nail on the head. while i might have somewhere cribbed about the complete lack of normalcy in their trial relationship, i would certainly not have accepted mindless giggling and cloyingly sweet, dumb dates. SRP maintained her character right till the end and while that may have been due to off-screen reasons, it stands true.

Amazing post!! The character Sharon was like a breath of fresh air in this TV industry which is flooded with holier than thou female leads. She is the only realistic character i have seen in any Hindi serial till now. She denying her love to protect herself from any kind of heart breaks made her character more real. Sharon back then had so many dimensions and sneha made me understand Sharon conflicts and insecurities. Sneha is the reason why i started loving Sharon.
